This man was really 1 shot away from going up 3-0 on these Warriors without two starters on his squad. This Finals made him the GOAT for me. What he did the next year was godly but this showed that even if he does everything its not enough against a better coached team. Lebron, Bird and Wilt are the only top 10 caliber players who never had a legendary coach.

That being said, I was actually happy for him when he won the Cleveland title for his home team on a roster that was not as unfair as his Miami roster. That’s when he earned my respect. The two finals before him were extremely competitive. 2015 LeBron took them to 6 games with no help but the warriors still won. 2016, warriors got the 3-1and lost 3 straight thanks to kyrie and bron leading the charge. Imagine the next two finals, would have been such a classic and def would have been something we looked back on with nostalgia. But nah kd just joins the 73-9 team and ruins that and collects the two most easy rings. Obviously it still took work but everyone knew they would win.
