Krump is like a sort of controlled frenzy, and it's not like anything else I have ever seen.. I have a question: At about 2:48, Baby Girl Blokk stepped into the ring and somebody pulled her back. Are there any rules about that? I would be interested to know if there are rules that must be followed by the participants. Why aren't there more people in the audience? Is it hard to get in? Thanks to you for any answers you might have for me.
That's just a general rule of dancing. It was her opponents turn and she stepped in way to far, to the point where you could see she would be in the way of her opponent.
Yep been observing dance, Krump or otherwise, and its just an unspoken rule. In high levels of competition they enforce it, like you'll see the MC telling them to step back when its not their turn. Its mostly just a sign of disrespect, dancing or invading the opponents space while they're battling, I think Baby Girl Blokk is a little too young to fully realize that, so that's why the guy pulled her back.
