Yo this video is great and really well made. As a massive fire emblem fan I’ve always been interested in the lost/obscure media of the series and I’m glad someone equally as passionate for the series covered it. This deserves more views and you deserve more subs!
I love how Tear Ring Saga was ostensibly the PlayStation's answer to Fire Emblem, but it ended up biting them in the butt, as Nintendo filed lawsuits. Then again, maybe they were just upset about no Fire Emblem 64 being released xD Also, this was a sad reminder of just how few RPGs the N64 had. The console is great, and while I did grow up with it, I always feel saddened by the lack of RPGs it had.
Thats an item that got scrapped in my channel glad you are able to take care of it. wish we had that instead of Binding Blade. but did you know Path of Radiance was originally supposed to be for the N64 but later Revamp to the Gamecube
Hell Yeah Fire Emblem! It’s a shame this never came out, as the N64 was completely barren when it came to RPG titles and with the PS1 making RPGs and hell even anime being a more popular style around that time, it would’ve been a great opportunity to localize the series at that point …. If only.
Would be funny if FE 64 becomes one of those special games to only make an appearance in classic console replicas (i.e.: Star Fox 2 with the SNES Classic/ Super Famicom Mini), but that would be a distant dream since it's uncertain if Nintendo has any interests in making another Classic/Mini console imo....
The fact that the spaceworld Pokemon G/S demos got out there gives me a warped sense of hope that this will eventually worm it's way onto the internet as well. Binding Blade is my favorite game in the series (and imho the best). I'm partly deluded enough to think that the massive Nintendo breach that happened a couple years back (and led to the spaceworld leaks) either had Earthbound 64 or FE64 in it and it hasn't been released yet, either out of fear or greed.

As someone who played ff7 for the first time last year I think it’s aged really well
The N64 is probably my favorit console, but i always thought it's lacking good RPGs. Or RPGs in general.

There are a bunch of N64 games that still uses sprites.
Bangai-O, Ogre Battle 64 and Mischief Makers are some examples
