- When Gadget seemingly disappears off the face of the Earth, it seems that his only hope lies in the paws of one man...err dog. That's right, Brain is back on the case, but can he put the past behind him and once again save Gadget?

Yeah, especially since Brain never ONCE hesitated to save Gadget in the original show. But who knows? Maybe on one case Gadget's mistaking him for a M.A.D. Agent took its toll and traumatized Brain for life.
Even though it was revealed to be a MAD agent, I would believe Nozzaire would set that trap up himself.
Possibly. After all the nightmare he went through because of Gadget's stupidity.

That being said, I am surprised Nozzaire hasn’t joined Dr. Claw considering he hates gadget as much as he does.

I actually prefer the CG Netflix reboot to this, they bring Brain back for this episode and make him a complete basket case having a fear and hatred of Gadget, because of all the "horrible things he endured" looking out for Gadget in the original. He never refused on helping Gadget out, nor did he ever shown any signs of developing a fear and hatred of him. Why did the writers even bring him back like this?

They also did this to the Scooby-Doo gang, making them be paranoid about Scrappy-Doo. Mention him, and they'll freak out!
That was another problem. That movie was horrible because they made Scrappy a villain. Why would he even want to kill his own uncle Scooby? Apparently they did that because people hated Scrappy. Not sure why the writers here did this to Brain, he was a big part of the original and had no problem helping Gadget out. Now all of a sudden he fears and hates him because of getting hurt and mistaken for a MAD Agent in the past? Like I said there wasn't any indication in the original that made him develop these feelings.
in other words, the people that made the film did something called fan service.

This is quite interesting that Gadget, Fidget, Digit and Brain were all voiced by Maurice LaMarche. Since Brain was afraid of Gadget, this means that Maurice LaMarche was afraid of himself.

@@jettmanas This series is quite funny, albeit I wish Gadget was slightly smarter and a bit more intelligent than in 1983 series. But he should remain hilarious. Even intelligent characters can be hilarious.

I was so lost why Brain wasn't even on this series which is suppose to be a sequel to the great 80s show. I was really happy to see Brain on this one but so disappointed that he doesn't care about Inspector Gadget. Also why is Brain teaming up with the 2 droids? Shouldn't he be teaming up with Penny. Ahh on the part 2
Yes, I also don't like, that Penny don't follows Gadget in this Series.
But I don't so know, why Penny don't follows Gadget with Brain in this episode. Maybe Creators thought that Penny is too cute for being on such dangerous Adventure.

When I first started watching gadget and the gadgetinis I was wondering what happened to brain after all this time now this episode reveals what happened to him.
I feel bad for brain being the victim of gadget mistaken him for a mad agent or almost sacrificing himself to save gadget many times. If I were brain, Colonel Nozzaire or even ms Miffet I would definitely hate gadget if I were in their world as much as those three do.
Brain had a breakdown with the shit he put nup with over the yes he left tween gadgets last case (:a finale to the old show) and this show

I'm sorry i just don't like how Brian is acting paranoid to save Gadget in this show. In the original he just did it, Well i guess all those times must've traumatized him i know Penny is desperate but how come she can't just use a different dog ?

... ok, there are SO many problems here, and i'm not even talking about them being a few years in the future or that they changed the car POSSIBLY because of the movie, but mostly with this show: why is brain only shown in this episode and why is he so jumpy when he thinks about gadget? why are they're two robots that look like gadget? and why does he talk like that? i mean, the animation is good, but from the original show, so many things are wrong. besides, brain had a voice. well, sort of.
Because of all the danger Inspector Gadget has put Brain into for saving his ass back in the original series.
