Creedence and chops, you're damn straight! A short vid of close-ups of the bike before buttoning her down wouldn't go amiss. Love the chop...you're the man!
Heeeeey here we are again...got my 89 sporster for 2 years now....massive maintens done trough out the years...engine gaskets, tires, ignition, gearbo....fucking amazing....sollid 883 from 89...cruised 12000 miles....and I still love this vid:)...see my other messages below: funny their still here :)
Beautiful. My chopper carreer should start in about a year from now if everything goes well. And it is because of videos like this one that I've found love in choppers, thank you.
There is everything perfect in this. Video, road, bike, music...the full package every man should have. Cheers
The best 7 minutes of my day. Thanks for sharing it.
CCR and a pan head chopper. That's about as good as it gets.
and a 5 speed at that :-)
Haha as soon as CCR started playing I couldn't help but crack a smile
cheers for that fulaboy, rode this baby coast to coast - LA to North Carolina and back across the US, and down to the Burt Munro in Invercargill - more to do before I sleep.
I have watched this about 8 times now .love this chopper
the earliest but best video this year
I like the edit of music, along with the sound of the bike. The best of both!!
Nice old-school ! Kick start and jocker shift ! Man !
Loved it, thanks for the ride man,...just an old hippie
Thanks for the comments - Was built in Los Angeles by garagecompany - Yoshi and Kiyo - the best - rock solid build. Rigid Frame, 40 Degrees of Rake , 22 Over springer. Hand Shift, Foot Clutch - No speedo, no front brake. - Don't need any of that shit on a chop - Baker six speed, S&S 103cu Pan, - Coast to coast across the US = and no drama. Paint - Black with lots of flake - hard to see in the pics. very comfortable to ride long distance - watch the vid, she POGO's..on the springer....
I just LOVE this clip ! Great ride, BEAUTIFUL old school chopper & excellent choice of music ! (can't beat Creedence !)
cruzin through youtube, didn't expect to find this Kiwi gem. cheers bro.
That end music suits that cool cycle
scroll down a bit further and see DRAGXX - I rode her from CA to Sturgis back in 07- age is NO BARRIER - my dad rode coast to coast at age 66 - Super America was perfect to rock across the US, long straight excellent roads, so you gotta blood her in up there before bringing her home......cheers Hornet
How anyone can dislike this is a beyond me
Thankx for the ride !!!
OH BOY,OH BOY,THANKS FOR THE RIDE
I ride a sport bike but really enjoyed your video. Thank you.
I really like your panhead chopper.
hell yes, cool bike good music, heaven.
Creedence and choppers - is there anything better. winter setting in here so back to the garage. thanks for all the comments. Kick Ride Sleep - repeat.
Like Sugar Bear says (regarding forks) "If it ain't long -- it's wrong!" I remember the South Bay style of the early 1970s. Long Dick Allen and Freddie Hernandez-built springers were the thing to run back then.
That is cool bro, love to own that when you sell it. I'll even keep it in the country south of the mighty Waikato.. Taupo. Nice sounds nice video nice bike. Cheers
cool video, lovely bike
I LOVE IT! CHOPPER, MUSIC & THE HIGHWAY!
Oh hell ya! Nice Creedence too. Brings back memories.
vidéo very good, very good to see a beautiful machine with old-school lines. congratulations. greetings from Uuruguay
Excellent video, excellent property, very cool ride!!!,peace..
You're welcome and thanks for your detailed reply.I got in touch with garagecompany in LA and browsed the pics and there she is.Looks like there may be another Super America around.I had a fully chopped Trump 650 a while back but it's time for a new bike built to my specs,AKA SuperAmerica, but I'll have to have it shipped home.I don't think I could make that long trip from CA to GA at my advanced age. HaHaHa!.Glad you did it with no teething probs.Aw,what the fuck, what can I lose by trying!
what can you tell me about those handle bars?
You've got some great rodes there for riding.
Cheers dude 8)
Don't profess to know what I'm talkin about & in fact, ur words were educational. p.s. great vid 8)
that sounds unreal!
its a pan....plus a old fasion cam...thats why...trust me it runs great!
My ears are ringing... :D
Nice roads to ride. I'd get killed quickly riding on the US side. Springer does a good job ..
to the owner of this amazing chopper , I don't know how often you checks this thread but what are the dimensions of this beast ? up stretch down stretch rake and how much girder ? thanks
CarolynandKeith that’s a springer front end, looks like it’s well over 10” extended. Beautiful traditional chopper! Is this Sweden? These guys have always made fantastic Harley choppers, ever since the ‘60s! The roads seem to be made for bikes, no traffic or lites and really smooth! (Man I leave my house and I ‘m on the interstate doing 80 just to stay out of the way. I spend the whole ride dodging idiots! ) The bent pull back bars on this bike are super traditional. The guy has the typical awkward grip on the throttle showing that he is cool enough to ignore comfort for styles sake! That is the foundation of chopper design! The bike comes first, the human is an afterthought!!!!!!!!!! Beautiful!!!!! CFL!!!!!!!!!!!
05:28 Creedence which song of gentleman ??
Awesome bike man, that motor sounds so goddamn angry!!
5:28 is Green River.
I want that bad boy! Looks and SOUNDS wicked to the bone!!! Did you build it yourself? Cheers.mate!
CHOPPERS RULE!!!
Super Sweet!
What is the stretch up and out on this frame? I see that the rake is 40 degrees. Beautiful chopper and thanks
hope fossil feul still exists for another 60 years:)
so a year later:0 cruised 7500 miles in 2014!!!....Bike is in the garage as we speak....had some problems with the ignition....ill get her back next week....and than some waiting again cuz I broke my legg...:(...Than winter comes...and Ill be ready for a nother tank paint job. I had some other problems as well...so I drove less than 550 kms this year (2015).
I haven't used a kick start in over 30yrs but apparently, if u don't kick through all the way but just allow the pressure to build up, you'll have a better chance of kicking it over - apparently???
p.s. loved how u edited this vid 8)
thanks for the advice, mate if you watch closely I do follow through early on, but I have to tell you, shes 103 Cubes and when she kicks back its nasty.....kicking over the old engines is a breeze compared to this beast. I have two decompression plugs on one side, of what should be a four plug engine - but they only help so much.
Fantastic!!!
sounds like a honda 750 with those pipes
Righteous
Yeah!

Let me guess...you're a test rider by vocation. How lucky can one person be?! I appreciate your advice to ride her home,as I'm only 2000 miles from LA. WHEW! One question though..."gotta blood her in up there." I don't know if I've ever done that on a bike but if you clear that up for me I just might try it.Sounds like fun at any rate! Did you get any riding time in on that beautiful bitch Super America this weekend? Have tons of fun Hornet and cheers to the both of you.
No warm up no problem
righteous!
the only life i live.
Did I actually say "rodes"? I'm so sorry. Make that "roads". I guess I was thinking too hard about riding when I wrote that.
