I love, love , love the Spun Colors yarn. So beautiful and so much fun to work with. I had fallen in love with a Granny blanket by Noro yarns that was simply gorgeous. Unfortunately, there was no way I could afford the Noro yarn so I decided to use the Spun Colors. I did two blankets in two different color ways for presents last Christmas and they were just spectacular. It was a perfect substitution. Working on two more for this Christmas.
Embrace the busyness, Crystal! You may just love it!

Love when you yarn talk and educate me on different yarns. Appreciate all you do! and yes I care about the weights because I am on a VERY LIMITED budget and yarn is expensive and a treat i allow myself. As it's become too difficult with the oxygen and walker or wheelchair to go myself, I count on you and Juan to guide me to the best deals! You have inspired me to crochet again and its slow going but great for my mental health. i am also trying to save some money to buy at your auction. It would be lovely if there were some things to buy for those of us on fixed budgets; but, if not then i'll just send some donation to help you with shipping.

Oh my, I did not like blanket yarn ... at first, but my family absolutely loves the blankets I make from them. Over the years we have discovered that the yarn/blankets hold up beautifully wash after wash. LOL so blanket yarn has become a favorite because I also discovered it is absorbent by accident, so I am going to make bath mats now!! I am with you on scrubby yarn though, can't work with that rough stuff. The color fusion is very pretty. Reminds me a bit of puzzle yarn. I would use a moss stitch for that busy yarn, I use that often and also like it for roving yarn. Thank you for all you do! Love your input! 💗🐩🐾🐕🌈

At least Crystal it is affordable. I enjoyed watching the vlogs of the knitters who also crochet, going to the Rheinbeck Sheep and Wool Festival. Just one way it would take me 2 1/2 hours on Amtrak to get there, and no shuttle bus to fair grounds. You would drool over the yarns they video taped at the show. I know I did, but one sign said 58 dollars a skein. That's why your videos are so great showcasing yarn people can actually afford to buy. You pick out such nice yarn and colors but, let us know with the mystery bags you get what you get. Keep the yarn videos coming they are so much fun to watch. Variegated yarn will self stripe when you make a hat, at least it does when knitted. Crochet I'm not sure, but not with a cowl.

The cobbles yarn you could send to MamaGgear or me. Everyone is tired of oh baby. And the blanket yarn can be used for making blankets for Boggy Creek. It makes nice blankets. I truly love your honesty. But some like it and some don't. I didn't like the cobbles yarn when I first saw it either, but with the right kinda hook and project it works well. Mine was a snoodie. Light weight on my head yet not to bulky and heavy when pulled down around my neck. I used a 12 or 15 hook and did a box stitch. I love it.

The way you looked at the bumpy yarn! 😂 you cracked me up so much. Honestly it looks like p**p. I look at Elmo the same way, honestly.
Your reactions are very entertaining as well as informative.
I do like the organic cotton in the bags. I only like 4 weight and under yarns, because I can't stand bulky clothes and such. I love natural fibers instead of the manmade ones. Lucky for all of us, there are great yarns for each of us.
Keep up the great videos! They are so helpful for me deciding what yarns to buy. I am bedridden so cannot go to the stores and have to buy online. Your descriptions are very informative and I have been able to buy yarn that I love because of it.
I also found Ice Yarns, Hobbii, and Herrschners because of you, and I have ordered repeatedly from them. Thank you!
