I am ONLY saying this bc you mentioned before that you’ve had trouble with nose contour. Try using your opposite hand or coming at it in the opposite direction. So contour the right side coming from the left and drawing the line further in from the bone edge. It should give the effect you said you were looking for. @@laflora166 nope I did my makeup in my pajamas! I didn’t put my dress on until I was at the venue, but I made sure to wear pajamas that buttoned up so I didn’t have to pull anything over my head and mess up my hair/makeup
I did my own makeup for my wedding as well and it was the best decision for me. I sent everyone away to go get ready and set up so I could have a moment to myself to collect my feelings and just chill. One tip that im glad I did - practice, i would do my "wedding makeup" everytime I need to go out for an event or errands or whatever. It gave me a good idea of what worked and didn't and what lasted through various weather conditions. I kept my makeup very true to me and simple and im glad I did. My photos look like me and im happy I stuck to my guns when everyone said hire someone, do glam, etc etc.
A piece of advice: Don’t do anything uber-trendy with makeup for your wedding because photographs are forever! Aka: Go with the Victoria Beckham #2 lip liner and not the very brown “Endless Cacao,” which will stand out. Otherwise, a stunning look.

Makeup by Mario’s “perfect brown” eyeliner is perfect for tight lining. I think it’s his only eyeliner formula?? The black doesn’t stay quite as well as the brown in the waterline for some reason. I don’t know if it works as well for everyone but it definitely works so well for me. I love watching your videos and good luck preparing for your wedding 🎉
Such a beautiful look!! Back when I got married, my husband and I had a very small non-church ceremony with just the closest fam, and then had a dinner the next day for fam & friends. Everyone's wedding looks different and not having a huge traditional wedding isn't bad at all if that's not your style! So I'm sure you two will have an absolutely fantastic day! Brief thought on the lip look as a once married person - i would recommend going for something simple and hydrating that will wear well and can be reapplied easily. Between the eating, drinking, kissing and talking the lips will wear away quickly. I used Chanel Boy on my day and it was a great option as it was close to my natural lip colour, didn't look wonky as it wore off and i could touch it up really easily.

Newlywed here! Got married 2 weeks ago! My lip combo was the lip cheat in pillow talk with the gloss option. I got the little gift set with 4 of the pillow talk lip products to carry with me on the day - I opted for a gloss because of the dry lip life! It was also so easy to just keep re-applying and not having to worry! 💋 congrats!!

Maybelline Unstoppable eyeliners are perfect for the waterline!!! I have the same issue and these don’t budge. Espresso is a very very deep neutral brown. A “darkest brown”! And then Cinnabar is a delicious warm brown! Not as dark and great for everyday for us fair skinned light eyed gals! 🤗 Congratulations on becoming a bride!!!
Eyeliner always transfers on my waterline, too. I use an angled brush and set the eyeliner with a similar colored eyeshadow. Learned that trick watching Nicola Chapman/Pixiwoo. Works very well for me because otherwise every eyeliner on the planet will transfer for me.
I know it’s not the same but maybe you could get your eyelashes (top and bottom) tinted for your wedding. I get mine done and it makes such a difference. You could tint them then wear a clear mascara on the bottom for separation.
I found a ton of Lila B makeup at TJ MAXX (TK MAXX for u in Canada I think). Their bronzers, blushes etc. in that beautiful heavy packaging they have for like $10!! I couldn’t believe it. I instantly thought of you😍 Love this bridal look Allana. Can’t wait for u & Dejan to finally tie the knot💍❤️✌🏼

Since you asked, on my wedding day my lip combo was Mac Oak lip liner with Charlotte Tillbury KKW lipstick! I didn’t opt for any lipgloss because this combo is quite creamy and I don’t go for it day to day either. It’s my go to and it looked sooo beautiful!
A really great trick for your waterline since I have the same issue with it transferring to my bottom when I don’t want it to is literally setting it with an eyeshadow powder in there. It lasts longer and basically almost fully prevents it from transferring to the bottom

Love this but consider a longer lasting lipstick, I wore a mix of two Chanel ones (LE ROUGE DUO ULTRA TENUE in a beige and pink to make the perfect shade) as it’s a colour then you seal with the gloss and it’s non transfer! It’s amazing for brides!

I absolutely stamp Mac Blacktrack fluid line with a little brush onto my upper waterline like a psychopath. Keep it very close to the lashes so it’s less likely to travel!
Biggest wedding advice is that as soon as it’s done you wonder why you worried or cared so much about it. The things that seemed so important fade away so don’t let the planning stress you out. It goes by in an absolute blur. Guests only care about the food, music and booze. They will not remember the center piece, who wore what or any of those little details. The overall feeling is what remains. It is not worth the stress planning all these details or spending a ton of money. Spend more money on the honeymoon than the wedding.

This is literally my special occasion go to makeup ❤ And for the non-transfer waterline, my top tip is to always use eyeshadow instead of eyeliner! Just use a small eye brush, and any shade you apply to your waterline will not move or transfer. ❤❤

Mel thompson always used the Mac extended play mascara for the lower lashes. I tried it and never went back: a small brush and no transfer because it is a tubing mascars
I bought that Shisedo topper a few years ago because of you and I literally wear it everyday, it's an absolute staple in my routine so they better not have discontinued it. Also, if you get mascara transfer under your eyes, it's probably from all of that setting spray. It changed my game when I added the lower lash mascara after my setting spray, and as a final step dusting a tiny amount of powder under my lower lash line.

You need to try the new Mac colour excess gel liners. I work for mac… And I can assure you they are a rockstar in the water line. No transfer, super smudge proof and waterproof in case you cry the day of your wedding.
you neeeed kaja catnap color corrector for under your concealer! i have suuuch dark circles but also texture and the kaja corrector is so light and thin---ITS JUST INCREDIBLE. try iiiiit!!!

I also have dry skin and was super disappointed with the Givenchy setting power (though I love the pink color for under the eyes). Kosas Cloud Set Baked Setting powder in the lightest color, applied to the under eyes with one of the little black puffy triangles gives me everything I was hoping the Givenchy power would! I say try it out!!
I would also totally recommend the Chanel ultra wear liquid lip colour in 69 tender beige it is so comfortable does not budge all day perfect wedding lip that you don’t have to worry about wearing away will stay all day long they are magical and so comfortable 🫶
So exciting you are beginning to try on wedding dresses! I have a reco for lower-lash mascara to avoid smudging- I always use a TUBING mascara! It doesn't really matter which brand honestly, as it's just to add a lil definition. I'm still looking for my holy grail tubing mascara, but I've tried Caliray and Thrive Cosmetics- both good formulas. Works like a charm!
hi, so I've never been married, but for any event that I need my lips to last long, I ALWAYS put on a lip stain before any lip products. you have to make sure that the stain dries before you go in w/ the lipliner/lipstick etc. this way when u talk or eat and the lipstick rubs off you will still have a hue of colour on your lips! works really well. can't wait for your big day
Allana !! Have you tried the CT brown eyeliner pencil? The powder one ? It’s the BEST in the waterline. I have the same issue and this one is the only one that doesn’t transfer. Try try please ! You don’t be disappointed ❤
I don’t know if you can get L.A. Girl in Canada, but their Ultimate Eye Intense liner is the best I’ve found since Marc Jacob’s was discontinued. Ulta Carrie’s it. I run a fry qtip along my waterline before I apply the liner and then make sure and then don’t blink for about 10 seconds after I apply liner. Stays on my upper waterline for hours and I have very watery eyes. Also, loved the lipstick/lip oil but the liner was really dark. I would try the VB liner.
Personally although i love doing makeup myself as well, i would advise you to hire a bridal expert for your makeup, first to be able to enjoy your moment to the maximum and second to avoid any unexpected errors due to the stress of the day and have a flawless look both for the day as well as the photos. I am getting married as well next year and I will probably ask from the artist to use some of my personal favourites, but I won't be applying them myself. xx
You are an exceptionally beautiful gal but, imho this bridal make up looks similar to many looks you do already. What about a pop of a color that is not in brown beige family in addition? I adore your videos btw.
I did my own makeup and loved it. I watched a few videos and did trials. I used a combo of liquid and powder blush & bronzer. I feel like the combo really set and held up all day/night. And I went for a red lip (RIP Nars velvet lip glides 😢)
If you're concerned about transfer with lower lash mascara, maybe dyeing your lashes and putting a few individual ones on your lower lash line could be an option? If you dye them there's no transfer, and if you feel like you still want them beefed up a couple individual lashes could be the move!
I did the bite beauty lip lab and made my perfect wedding nude lipstick custom. Highly recommend!!! I did the one in Toronto not sure if they have one in BC.

For my wedding 10 years ago I went to the MAC counter and got some random pink/nude long lasting lipstick. The MBM perfect brown liner doesn't transfer & is a perfect brown color/tone.

I used pillow talk as well, but not the lipstick, but the lipliner all over. It held up very well, with only a few touch ups.

Biggest wedding advice is that as soon as it’s done you wonder why you worried or cared so much about it. The things that seemed so important fade away so don’t let the planning stress you out. It goes by in an absolute blur. Guests only care about the food, music and booze. They will not remember the center piece, who wore what or any of those little details. The overall feeling is what remains. It is not worth the stress planning all these details or spending a ton of money. Spend more money on the honeymoon than the wedding.

Wow, I never realised before how much of your makeup style has influenced mine! This is literally my special occasion go to makeup ❤ And for the non-transfer waterline, my top tip is to always use eyeshadow instead of eyeliner! Just use a small eye brush, and any shade you apply to your waterline will not move or transfer. ❤❤

I used Charlotte Tilbury pillowtalk lip liner and lipstick since it was very close to my natural lip color, so when it faded it faded naturally :)
I follow another makeup youtuber, Jessica Braun, and she loves the brown Makeup by Mario liner! She also wears it on her top water line and says it doesn’t budge! She recently tried the Sephora collection liner and said it’s very similar!
Mel thompson always used the Mac extended play mascara for the lower lashes. I tried it and never went back: a small brush and no transfer because it is a tubing mascars
I bought that Shisedo topper a few years ago because of you and I literally wear it everyday, it's an absolute staple in my routine so they better not have discontinued it.
Also, if you get mascara transfer under your eyes, it's probably from all of that setting spray. It changed my game when I added the lower lash mascara after my setting spray, and as a final step dusting a tiny amount of powder under my lower lash line.

I got married this September and used Bobbi Brown 08 Soft Berry lipstick and dotted some Fenty beauty lipgloss in Fuzzy on top to make it a slight bit more wearable - it was gorgeous!!
You need to try the new Mac colour excess gel liners. I work for mac… And I can assure you they are a rockstar in the water line. No transfer, super smudge proof and waterproof in case you cry the day of your wedding.

I use gel liner for my upper waterline. Just apply it with your angled eyeliner brush to get great colour payoff and it doesn't transfer. 🙂
The Colourpop crème gel liners are good in the water line!
The lip combo is stunning 😍 my only rec is get one of your bridal party or family to hold your lip oil for you for reapplication. My dress had pockets but if yours doesn't see if you can borrow one of their's!

I also have dry skin and was super disappointed with the Givenchy setting power (though I love the pink color for under the eyes). Kosas Cloud Set Baked Setting powder in the lightest color, applied to the under eyes with one of the little black puffy triangles gives me everything I was hoping the Givenchy power would! I say try it out!!

One of my favourite lipstick colours is hug me by Mac. It goes with so many different lip liners. Or it pretty on its own.
So exciting you are beginning to try on wedding dresses! I have a reco for lower-lash mascara to avoid smudging- I always use a TUBING mascara! It doesn't really matter which brand honestly, as it's just to add a lil definition. I'm still looking for my holy grail tubing mascara, but I've tried Caliray and Thrive Cosmetics- both good formulas. Works like a charm!

hi, so I've never been married, but for any event that I need my lips to last long, I ALWAYS put on a lip stain before any lip products. you have to make sure that the stain dries before you go in w/ the lipliner/lipstick etc. this way when u talk or eat and the lipstick rubs off you will still have a hue of colour on your lips! works really well. can't wait for your big day

I don’t know if you can get L.A. Girl in Canada, but their Ultimate Eye Intense liner is the best I’ve found since Marc Jacob’s was discontinued. Ulta Carrie’s it. I run a fry qtip along my waterline before I apply the liner and then make sure and then don’t blink for about 10 seconds after I apply liner. Stays on my upper waterline for hours and I have very watery eyes. Also, loved the lipstick/lip oil but the liner was really dark. I would try the VB liner.
Personally although i love doing makeup myself as well, i would advise you to hire a bridal expert for your makeup, first to be able to enjoy your moment to the maximum and second to avoid any unexpected errors due to the stress of the day and have a flawless look both for the day as well as the photos. I am getting married as well next year and I will probably ask from the artist to use some of my personal favourites, but I won't be applying them myself. xx
You are an exceptionally beautiful gal but, imho this bridal make up looks similar to many looks you do already. What about a pop of a color that is not in brown beige family in addition? I adore your videos btw.
I did my own makeup and loved it. I watched a few videos and did trials. I used a combo of liquid and powder blush & bronzer. I feel like the combo really set and held up all day/night. And I went for a red lip (RIP Nars velvet lip glides 😢)

If you're concerned about transfer with lower lash mascara, maybe dyeing your lashes and putting a few individual ones on your lower lash line could be an option? If you dye them there's no transfer, and if you feel like you still want them beefed up a couple individual lashes could be the move!

Hope you had a lovely time trying on dresses! The lead up to the wedding is always a lovely exciting time - make the most of it! For my wedding 10 years ago I went to the MAC counter and got some random pink/nude long lasting lipstick. I do remember wearing Shale eyeshadow in the crease with a bit of Print for liner though… If I were to do it again 😂 I would wear VB No. 2 lipliner with her Pout lipstick. Enjoy! xxx
