Mukesh was the man with the golden voice..he did not sing too many hindi film songs ..around 1200 compared to M.Rafi who recorded around 4450 film songs..but whenever he sang it was pure gold..this song did not suit his voice but if there was a singer other than M.Rafi who could do justice to this song then it would be Mahendra Kapoor..he recorded many great songs for Manoj Kumar..
