I stayed on 13th floor back in February for AIMExpo 2024 this year at Westgate and didn't regret anything about that room. Only bad comment is the shower/bathroom situation but for that price is damn good. On top of that it's a historic building with great places to eat at for Breakfast, Lunch and Fine Dining at night off the strip. I wouldn't mind coming back here just for Singing Paul at Sid's café. Thanks for the recommendation
Nice. I stayed there a couple weeks ago and booked the cheapest room. The $20 trick at check in got me into a signature room for a three day weekend. Not bad. My room was in the North tower and was a little larger than this one. 2 sinks and a desk where the couch was. Major drawback was the elevators at checkout on a Sunday. Waited for 20 minutes before giving up and walking down 26 flights of stairs. My legs are still sore 😂
I stayed at the westgate once and they upgraded my room to a suite that looked like an apartment… Super nice and they didn’t charge me… I’m in Vegas now but at the palazzo… This room isn’t bad
Hi! Your videos are me fave for Vegas. Haven't been able to go for 2+ years, finally have a trip soon and these videos couldn't get me more excited! I know you love sushi and Japanese food. Could you please share your favourite sush/Japanese spots on the Strip? You share so many - I don't know which ones you recco the most!
Westgate is on the monorail line and goes to the MGM, transportation to the strip is cheap also. Not in the best neighborhood though. That golf course you mentioned is the LV Golf and Country Club, the movie "Casino" did some filming there. The classic Vegas vibe is great, without having to endure downtown. Nice work as always!!!
Excellent report and video. No bullshit music and scenery - but you reviewed what matters, and took video that is really helpful to gauge the room. Question - - if you tried it - how was food at that hotel? Thanks
Sir James …happy Wednesday! Your getting so far off strip you’ll be in LA soon …just kidding. I thought the room was pretty good. Liked the bed ..furniture and art. Not a fan of shower tub combos. I agree with you on shower curtains . As for five in a room … no can do ..my spring break days are long behind me lol . Great tour as always 😎😎😎
Anthony!! The budget person in me sometimes defaults to how many people I can fit in a room. And please, don't remind me of LA - that's one city I don't miss 😎
We stayed at Westgate last September for The Big Blues Bender. Our event rate was supposed to get us an upgraded remodeled room, but the first one they gave us with really dirty and moldy. We objected and got the room next to it which was tolerable, but still in desperate need of cleaning and renovation. Considering how well the event was handled at Westgate, however, and the other positive elements at the property (including valet parking at no charge), I'd be willing to give it another try if I could get a better room.
Love your work! Watched all your Vegas videos in about 3 days. My wife thinks I have a man crush lol, but just think you're a cool dude. Ever think of doing some Atlantic City casinos in the summer?? Not as nice as Vegas, but I think The Borgata and Ocean Resort might be worth a shot. Plus, you do get something you don't get in Vegas, a beach. Keep smilin' bro 👍
Hi ! Love the Vegas content haven’t had the time to watch all of them I like to binge through content haha. Just wondering for Dominican republic(punta cana) are there any vaccines other then the vid19 that you would recommend or people should have ?
When the Westgate was the Las Vegas Hilton, it was one of our favorites - nice, large rooms, good restaurants and very classy. The owners prior to Westgate let it get run down, but Westgate has been trying to spruce it up. I think the renovations were delayed by the pandemic, as it needed the casino and timeshare revenues to fund the renovation. The rooms like James' room - with the old antquated marble-counter bathrooms - are in desperate need of some updates.
Thanks for the review. The tub shower combo with a curtain disqualifies this room for me. If I wanted to stay in a room with a tub shower combo I would stay at the Motel 6. Plenty of other low priced nice hotels in Vegas have nice large walk in showers.
I stayed in that cheapest room for a night. It's smelly and very sketchy. I slept with my clothes on, on top of the covers and left first thing in the morning.
I had a desk in my room at Westgate in September, but the internet connection was spotty. Since I couldn't work, I cried for two minutes and drowned my sorrows in beer.

Thank you for taking the time to post this
I agree, James, like the classy black ⚫️ color. Surprisingly spacious. Looking forward to the rundown of this property.
GOD BLESS YOU JAMES. I AM VERY PROUD OF YOU AND VERY HAPPY FOR YOU. I HOPE ALL OF YOUR DREAMS COME TRUE. 🙏

Cool room👍 I dig the design and decor. Look forward to your property/full experience video next.

You obviously got one of their "timeshare" rooms. They have to be nice in order to sell them.
Always love your videos James . I will be in town next month . I can hardly wait !!!
You think they would notice the Elvis artwork missing from the wall....I LOVE that!
I like the style of the furniture, almost reminds me of park MGM

Maybe after I finish Vegas - I still have a lot of work to do in LV.

Seems to be a nice and decent room

On the website it seems to show Signature as the cheapest --- 2nd cheapest shows "Luxe"....
I love the west gate
Big hi from Kelowna BC.
I stayed in that cheapest room for a night. It's smelly and very sketchy. I slept with my clothes on, on top of the covers and left first thing in the morning.
No table or desk ?
That's the Former Las Vegas Hilton - once the largest hotel in the world.
Ughhh I wanted this until I saw the bathroom. I hate the tub with shower curtain so much
If you say "Class" one more time, I swear I'm about to lose my mind!😂
What about a microwave
I have never used a dresser in a hotel ever, lol. I do however, hang my clothes
🍹❤🍹❤
Don't waste your time with the Timeshare/ vacation club presentation no matter what "gifts" they offer
why because i just made reservation
No desk? Deal breaker for me.

These guys banned me cause I hurt my hand ✋
