I'd say... put it on 1.5x instead because I always go ride on it every other month and it's around that speed instead of 2x. And hk Disneyland is a theme park, not a ride park, so if you really want those thrillers, I'd say go to the other amusement park in Hong Kong, Ocean Park.

i remember taking this when i was 9-10, i had held my uncles hand while in the coaster, closing my eyes because i was scared and all i can remember back then was the ride was very fast and it would tilt you alot. Today i went to ocean park and went to the hair raiser which if u dont know, is a really really fast and insane roller coaster and im telling you, space mountain is absolutely nothing compared to the hair raiser The hair raiser raised my soul instead
Actually, this ride is a nothing coaster. I believe the top speed is less than 30 mph and it has no major drops. The theming and atmosphere in the ride makes it a thrilling experience! Try to look at videos of the ride with lights on, you’ll see it isn’t actually a fast ride.

This ride is literally two times faster and seems much more thrilling than the one in Disney World. Although I don’t think they should take Space Mountain in Disney World away because it is indeed a classic, I think they should add Hyperspace mountain to Disney World. However, they should put it in Star Wars land obviously instead of replacing the classic in Tomorrowland. I love the noises in this ride and the lights match the theme extremely well, it does seem like quite the thriller in terms of a Disney ride.

I went with my mother on this ride and I wasn’t scared and was rather having fun.But then a few years later when I am 11 years old 😔I went on this ride with My dad. I’m not sure if they upgraded it or something it was way more terrifying than I remembered it was so fast.😭😭😭 I guess I was too young to be scared back then😭😭🙏

The hyperspace mountain at Paris uses one of the inversions for the part where you blow up tie fighters, I thought that was a great use of the effects while relating them to the track
These parks out of the U.S. are truly amazing. I dig the classics at World and Disneyland in the U.S. but I feel like nostalgia is holding our parks back from developing. These newer rides are simply put, magical.

Just went and played this thing 3 times. It looks slow on camera but its actually really fast and it kinda accelerate towards the end with more sharp turns, my hair all went up after the ride. Like some people suggest, if its your first time playing this, you really dont have time to process what happen or catch a break during the ride, which is awesome and it last like 2 mins so its amazing. I played all the rides in the park and space mountain together with toystory RC car coaster are the two most exciting thing in the park. One tip if you ride this thing, do not sit at the front row if possible, because you would be able to "see" the track in front of you. the darkness, the high speed plus the epic star wars theme make this coaster awesome. I think this is quite a bit more scary than the Grizzly Mountain, Grizzly Mountain is not scary, but it is a coaster with a little bit of everything and will make you smile, space mountain is more exciting on top of the fun. Toy story coaster looks scary, but turns out to be not that scary to me, also super fun and you can get some air time.
I was in this ride 3 days ago! It is not a slow ride! It’s fast! But i feel the euphoria rushing through me after the ride! Perfect blend of ride + atmosphere + sounds and music + lights + timeline and waaaaaaaahhhh!! Wanna go back!
Went to HK disneyland last july and tried this one. At first, I thought its not that extreme, but I was wrong. For me, this is the most extreme ride in disneyland.
I remember riding this one in HK many years ago - at that time it was about planets - and being absolutely terrified. Didn’t help that I didn’t know it was a roller coaster and only got on it upon someone’s recommendation, but still - absolutely terrifying. If you’re a thrill junkie, this is a great one to try!

Space Mountain is actually one of the landmarks of Disney Tomorrowland. The first Space Mountain is opened in 1975. Which is even before the Star Wars movie is released in 1977. It is the fastest rollercoaster in Hong Kong Disneyland. Much faster and more quick turning than Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars. And yes, it is the scariest rollercoaster in Hong Kong Disneyland right now in 2023. On the ride you are in complete darkness, you don’t know when you will turn, you don’t know when you will drop.

me watching this bc when we were at this ride my parents told me this was a train but there were tv screens explaining that this was a motion sickness ride and it was a rollercoaster. my brother believed my parents and I was SOBBING since I didn't wanna go so I stayed in the waiting area. moments later when they came back from the ride they were all shocked

其實呢個過山車真係冇幾多離心力 即係唔會突然間急速衝落去基本上即係好似海洋公園既極地時速過山車嘅加快同加長板咁， 不過佢呢架車真係行得好鬼快會突然間急轉彎同埋你睇唔到前面嘅路軌唔知下一秒會向邊個方向行迎面吹過來嘅風大到眼鏡都擔心會飛走呢樣係幾刺激，實際有大離心力嘅地方都係得小小， 離心力同海洋公園的過山車相差太遠 佢唯一特點就係速度好快同埋係黑暗地方入面玩好似真係上咗太空咁
