I just love brass and I played years ago too and funny enough I was talking to truckin piper Bob that I’m thinking of buying an instrument again preferably a cornet and I’m on the search for a Besson 600 one of the last British made ones before the manufacturing went to India. Most of us started on the cornet then went on to other instruments, like me I went from cornet to baritone to euphonium then to Eb base but I loved the baritone more than any other it’s just got such a mellow sound. It’s like riding a bike once you pick it back up you’ll soon be up and down the scales.
Standing up for yourself and being a man when someone has forced you to do so is the way that it should be. It is called a life lesson. You learned that you did not like being treated that way and that you need to stand up for yourself and hopefully he learned humility and to treat people better.
