This man is who guys should aspire to be, and he's a natural. This is my second watching of this, and I think it's my favorite. I do stand-up comedy in my area, and when I see/hear guys like this, it's the best. I still am good friends with my captain from a department I was on 20 years ago, and we both share a sense of humor with each other that there is no substitute for.
I loved Billy on Third Watch- wish he had gotten more screen time- and after watching this, I love him even more. He seems like a great guy. Billy, thank you for your service in the FDNY and God bless you and your family.
Massive crush on Billy Walsh while on Third Watch. Was always ticked he didn’t get more air time. Finally released on streaming and I just finished binge watching which led me here. It’s great to hear his stories now and get to know him as a man. Freakin hilarious (OMG the pit bulls!), but you can really hear his dedication to the job and to his fellow firefighters. Sounds like he had a career to be proud of. And now I’ve still got that massive crush going on! Thanks for the throwback glamour shots…maybe I’ll hang them on my wall like we did with our teen idols back in the day. 💕
GREAT SHOW !! I would have loved to work with Billy Walsh. He knows the job extremely well and I am sure there was constant laughter with him around... My face and sides hurt laughing while watching this episode. Need to invite him for future episodes....
Captain Walsh appeared on an Episode of Sesame Street that deals with the 9/11 attacks where there was a fire at Hooper's Store and the FDNY fought the fire and Elmo was so nervous that he didn't want to go into Hooper's Store ever again. So Captain Bill Walsh offers Elmo a visit to Engine 58/Ladder 26 and he had lunch with the guys there and became less scared.
Was waiting for this one forever. Loved every minute of it. I had heard the story of Billy's audition and first shoot of Third Watch on the podcast that he did with the Australian Third Watch super fan. It gets better with age. It's such a good story that is a classic. Of course he got a job when he needed to leave.
Steve Buscemi is a legend. It is amazing that he was a New York City Firefighter and a few years later he left to become an actor. Steve Buscemi starred in movies and TV Shows such as Reservoir Dogs, Desperado, Monsters Inc. and many more movies.
Great podcast! one of the best.Again bringing back great memories of the job. I never worked with, Billy I wish I would have. I remember seeing him when he covered in SQ-270.
This explains why your character was so natural and convincing. Thank you for your service sir 👩🚒🚒🧯 How have I missed having GSE in my life? 😁 What a great show 🏆

SHOW GET BETTER AND BETTER. THESE BROTHERS ARE FREAKIN AMAZING! GOD BLESS AND STAY SAFE.
Great show men. 😄👍🏼 🏴
ALF had tight jump seats compared to a Mack CF jump seat. Good suburban rig. Nothing can take punishment like a Mack.

BAM out of the park again 👍👍

Dude saved Hoopers store.....F'CKIN Legend. Great show
Just saw him in United 93 playing an air traffic controller.
God can’t stop laughing 😂 .
Top Notch guys!
Good show guys!!!
"Know your job. Know your tools." Just like a famous quote from a previous episode, " The officer sets the scene tone."
Laughed about the "nocturnal nitwits". Wake up at the crack of dawn. A blight on the butt of society.
Actually I meant crack of noon.
does a squad overhaul?
i just woke up bro wtf am i watching rn
Can y’all talk about firefighter history
Johnny friendly
