And seeing Lucifer‘s throne chair that’s like a good Easter egg and a hint that someday he’ll make a future appearance crossover somewhere in the near future
Fun fact: despite what Satan says he is not older than Lucifer he just says that that’s why Asmodeus and Queen Bee gave that look Satan essentially stepped in since none of the Morningstar’s are involved in any involvement with hell Anymore
Yeh it wouldn’t make sense for Satan to have ruled Hell before Lucifer fell because Hell was created was a result of Luci giving the apple to Eve and in turn giving humanity free will. But as @CartoonUniverse says what if Hell already existed as separate reality that then merged with Earth and Heaven thus essentially Lucifer had just accidentally opened a gateway to Hell after humanity started to sin.
So from what I understand, the Sins are all based on parts of a circus act. Lucifer is the ringmaster, Asmodeus is the magician, Beelzebub is the animal tamer, Mammon is the clown, and Satan is the strongman. I'm guessing that Envy being conjoined twins represents the freak show. What part of the circus is Belphegor?
But I now wondered... In the hellaverse are the "Elder Angels" the "7 Heavenly or Lively Virtues"?? One of my speculations is that Sera the Mighty High Seraphim is an "Elder Angel" herself... Sera could possibly be "The Lively Virtue of Humility"(in the show), since Sera seems to be incharge/govern and responsabile for the virtuos human souls...🤔 Plus, Sera kinda already has some several opposing parallel traits with Lucifer, they'd clash for story telling purporses... He constantly promised Via that he wasn’t cheating on Stella, and that he would always put her above anything else, and suddenly, here is is, proclaiming his love for blitz and offering to literally sacrifice himself to him safe. From Via’s perspective, this will probably just solidify her belief that Stolas loves blitz more than her.
..I don’t think he ever actually said he wasn’t cheating, he just said he loved Via more, but at that point in time, Blitz was ACTUALLY about to die, this isn’t exactly a fair situation you’re putting him in, it’s his daughter who he’s currently on ok terms with just chilling at home, versus his lover who’s actively about to die on national TV due to his own actions, was he just meant to let Blitz get executed?

Also the fact that this was _the exact thing_ that via was worried about in loo loo land, that stolas would run off with blitz and leave her, and you might think that it's all okay because stolas will be back with her after the hundred years but octavia doesn't know that! She ran away before it was announced and so from her perspective stolas was willing to give up his life for blitz and leave her behind forever
I have to wonder if removing Stolas from his position drained him of most of his vitality. After Satan siphoned away his position, you could see a bunch of red lightning or energy flooding out from Stolas’ eyes, and ever since that moment, he’s way more sluggish. He didn’t try to dodge any of the crap the imps were throwing at him. I don’t think it was even a matter of NOT having enough time to react-as he did dodge several of Striker’s holy weapon bullets back in S2E4, and he hardly had any warning then. But here, the same guy couldn’t dodge a couple buckets of water??! No, Stolas lost most or ALL of his power. It’s like at the beginning of Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, when Link loses all but 3 of his heart containers from health bar; Stolas just went from Lvl70 to Lvl1, and now anyone after his head won’t need to bind him with blessed/Carmine’s weapons to weaken him first, he’s a sitting duck. He’s like the Lvl1 party member in an rpg who can’t defend themself, whom you have to protect during an escort mission. And from the S2 trailer, it looked like Andrealphus was going to try and finish killing an exhausted Stolas in Blitzø’s arms, probably so there’s no 100yr turnaround rule for his power strip.
They can’t kill Blitz. He’s basically the main star he’s the main character of the series and the entire show wouldn’t be the same without him along with Loona as well

I feel like it would give them an interesting dynamic as well. Lucifer rules hell but he’s always being lazy or running from his duties therefore Satan feels the need to step in and put himself in Lucifer’s place
