NJ's move is risky and may not be considered a wise decision but I still hope for their success after all this, if only to set a precedent. It's sad to see that kpop artists are always at the losing end whenever they go against their agencies especially when they signed their contracts while still being minors. If too much power is left on a few that is not a good thing and sadly that is how the kpop industry and the SK economy works.
Exit fees are legally required to end their contract. New Jeans are acting like spoil brats. Ador should kick them out. They think that they can survive without Hybe support. Not likely. Honey claim was false.
@@djvillan no actually. The burden of proof lies with the plaintiff (in this instance nj). They have to legally prove breach of contract....not through a press conference. Ador has stated that their contracts remain valid. Ador responded to their certification of demand and answered their claims of breach of contract. Now the legal burden is on them to prove it in court
deeply concerning that a lawyer is not interested in using the law as a tool to correct power imbalance, exploitation, or repair injury/ damages between two groups. caping instead for a corporation that makes billions off these young women’s images and labor and tries to suppress any resistance among its employees in this day and age is not needed.
They’re young workers for a workplace in a toxic industry that makes billions every year off their labor and image. It should be seen as an act of bravery that exploited young women in a deeply unequal power imbalance (not to mention a misogynistic industry) use the leverage and power they have to stand up and try to improve their situation, instead of getting sandbagged by the company’s execs and now by the public opinion of random people on the internet. Think for one second with some human empathy, and perhaps the values you’d like to stand for. It’s called bravery when you make a choice even if it’ll cost you something, because you think it’s right. They’re not stupid- they already know what the outcomes might be and they still chose to act. Don’t call idiot just because you wouldn’t have the courage to make a hard choice in a hard place
Blah blah. You don't know enough about the toxic kpop industry as you called it if you think these girls can resume their newjeans career as normal. They won't get away
Agency confirms new jean contract 2029, plans to find new producer the exclusive contract between Ador and NJ members remain valid. (Ador CEO Kim Ju-Young)
Not terminated though. Gone to Japan from their luxury home, security travelling with them all paid for by Ador/Hybe, they are nothing but spoilt brats who don't like it when they get their own way. Let them pay the penalty and leave Hybe, hope their new backer has an apartment lined up for them
😂 The girls are manipulated by their mama jeans, and they are too naive to think they can get away with throwing girly petty fits. They just threw their career down the drain
Before some of you eggheads start calling these young women "spoiled" or "entitled", try picturing yourselves in their predicament?! Seriously, this could not have been a easy decision for them! They are willing to walk away and give it all up, that alone should be an indication as to how toxic an environment it must be for them?!!! I genuinely wish them all the best in their future endeavors and hope they can continue somewhere else, that they stay healthy and happy, because they are all very talented and deserve better!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Yup, I’ll support them wherever they go, same as the members that left Fifty Fifty and joined new group Ablume. In both cases, I choose to support the artist over the company. I feel whoever posts otherwise are either an employee of HYBE or not Newjeans fans in the first place. Not surprised though, the internet is such a toxic place.
This is a new opportunity for them. The company they belong to is irrelevant. The girls are the talent and they will be staying together. They have a massive fanbase and still have their brand deals so they will be able to recover quickly.
MHJ leaving Hybe and now NWJ it is all in her plans. You can call Hybe toxic but MHJ is also a power hungry toxic woman and they ( NWJ) do whatever she asked them to do.
who is the winner ? only the lawyers behind all 3 parties.
oh my. i just hope they are consulting with a good lawyer before making any statements. Im hoping it will all turn out well for them.
the adults failed them

Not always. The onus is now on ADOR to take it to court and let a judge decide either way.

Hybe stans like you are spoiled brats 🤣
Iconic group fr
omg..what a pity..they are still young..can go far..😮
Support for NewJeans forever ❤️❤️❤️💪💪

Well said 🙏

They sabotaged a lot of their fellow hybe colleagues along the way. That’s the problem.
A person that seems to understand the situation and doesn't jump to judge the girls 🎉
NEWJEANS FOREVER OT5
BUNNIES NEWJEANS FIGHTING ❤❤❤❤❤
Protect Newjeans!
Be strong 💪💪💪

Just like Fifty fifty. Fifty NewJeans

@@raisinmancereal👍👍👍
What predicament. They started the shenanigans with dumb /unwarranted press conferences and demands😢
@@LadyLawyerG And you call yourself a lawyer? lol.
RUMORED: NewJeans to join JYP Entertainment soon.💙
This is funny. New Jeans is so funny 😅
Not just funny but silly also.
Great , no more drama
V and Jungkook supports these girls.
They didn’t support the toxic part of it.
They are no longer newjeans. That name doesn't belong to them anymore. They threw it all away for what? Waste of opportunity.
lol it’s Hybe that threw away. Don’t worry, NewJeans only belongs to the five girls and they will take it 😊
This is a new opportunity for them. The company they belong to is irrelevant. The girls are the talent and they will be staying together. They have a massive fanbase and still have their brand deals so they will be able to recover quickly.
Can someone please explain to me what these foxes think they are doing because i don't get it.
If you don't get it then you'll never get it.
What song will they perform now when all intellectual property is held by HYBE?
