Yes. Every Church's Chicken restaurant is independently owned and you'll notice the difference. Girl the one in Vallejo California. I have received chicken that was fried in fish grease, on two different occasions. LOL. I had my husband return it and I told them If I want fish I would order fish! So it also depends on the cook and the team operating the business.
Golden Bird was the best chicken in LA for many years. Sadly, because of poor management many of the locations have closed. However, there are still 2 locations left. Give it a try. You might be pleasantly surprised.
I remember Golden Bird, with those sweet pickles on the side 😋. Yea, 2nd generation mismanaged the stores. Like the original Fatburger (on Western)they had a great run.
I cannot believe Yoki was rolling through the Shaw like a boss...lol... man, not too many people would roll through the Shaw. You gotta venture out Yoki. Los Angeles has a lot of good food spots but if you want a spot for you and your husband. You guys need to head out to "The Quarter" out in Claremont, CA. The owner of the Quarter used to live in Shaw area and had opened up his first restaraunt in the Shaw. You'll love the Louisiana cuisines at the Quarter. Yelp it... Be safe!!!

You supposed to put honey on the chicken and the bread together. So you need peppers and honey and a strawberry soda and a cold bottle water. AND fresh fried okra
The Church's Chicken I go to, on El Cajon Blvd in San Diego, is decent chicken - nothing spectacular but definitely decent. And paying only 5 bucks for the 2 thighs and drumstick with a biscuit combo is a sure shot.
I love these videos...my Church's stopped selling rice awhile ago...when they don't give me a spoon/fork I use the chicken leg bone to eat my mashed potatoes and gravy cause the top had other people hands on it....I never get the Mac and cheese I may try it and the peppers next time I go😊💙💙💙
