Hello Mr. Johnston!! My name is Dawn Rollins-Vestyck!! Both of my parents went to WH Adamson High School in the mid 1940’s and early 1950’s!! I was born and partially raised in Oak Cliff at a house my parents owned at Hampton and Illinois by Keist Park since they owned it in around 1956!
I still have my late MaMa’s scrapbook collection of football tickets and many other things from Adamson High School. From the late 1940’s and early 1950’s!! Do you remember Youngblood’s fried chicken restaurants in Oak Cliff?
Originally W.H. Adamson High School was called, Oak Cliff High School! They later changed to the name of WH Adamson High School because of a beloved Principle! My family overall has originally lived in Oak Cliff before the 1920’s!
Love the history of my old HS. Thank you for sharing.

Very interesting, Bob and nicely done! I didn't know the 12th Man was an Adamson alum! Whoop! ;)
Bob thanks for this history. I look forward to the next film from 1945 to ?
I went to that school in the 90s and I'll tell you what that place is haunted.
