Because Tankman was having a boring day, meaning he wasn’t gonna shoot Boyfriend until the three songs were over. But the HD mod might might change the lore slightly like they did with Pico (Who you mentioned). (I know this is kinda unrelated, but imo I feel like the HD mod needs a new name. It’s even less then just a style change now that remixes are being added.)
