Just to clarify i am not trying to hate on Republic Bricks I'm just telling you guys my opinion and what i think. Not all experiences will be the same as mine but whether or not you buy from his website is your choice. Also i wasn't planning on making a video this week but i decided to make this quick one.
The thing everyone has to understand about the mystery boxes is that you are gambling plain and simple and RB is the house and he will profit more than the consumers. People are receiving the expensive items listed but only a tiny handful. One thing that I would say is deceptive about some of his stuff is that he is the one who decides the value of his minifigures and sets so by having a set be overpriced significantly he can say the mystery box is $100 value when you go check the items listed you can clearly see that the set is overpriced leading to a deceptive box value. I personally have received 2 official retired UCS sets from republic bricks however I have spent a lot of money with many of the mystery boxes resulting in a loss.
But if your receiving something that’s only 1/10 of the price you paid for it or you don’t get something that’s only you expected that’s a scam, and that’s what RB does
I bought from him 3 times First time no delivery but I got something after I asked if it is coming Second no delivery no replacement for not getting anything on bases of error of DHL And 3rd order I got everything. I think he scammed me 1.5 times bc the first and second order had the same tracking I tracked from him to a bigger delivery center and then stopped. I live overseas from the US but I don't think DHL makes that many mistakes on delivery's overseas and i think he just recalled it to say he delivered quality wise I got no complaints. No missing pieces no fake lego and the models look nice. But the delivery and customer service was something else saying it was somehow my fault for not getting it. 2/10
