Zenithal gradient is cool: Definitely love the idea of triads. I'd try just shooting the mid tone first all around, the dark color from the bottom of the mini, and the lighter from the top. Experimentation time!
Hello Army painter. I got a starter kit and I have to say, it's fantastic! Even for a beginner (especialy actualy) it makes airbrushing so much easier. They work perfectly right out of the box. Great job! I had two questions. Do you plan on making the paints available individualy in the future? In time I will have to replace single colors that I use much more than the rest and it would be great not to have to buy a full set again for one or two colors! Also concerning priming. How many coats would be recommended (again with no dilution)?
It's not possible for us to provide a pressure recommendation as there are too many variables. For example, Adam lives in a very heavy, humid region, so he tends to work at higher pressures around 38-38psi, while Thomas is in the mild and moderate Danish region and works in the mid-twenties. It is also dependent on how you use the airbrush. Thomas works in very light layers, while Adam is a but heavier in his application. We suggest you experiment on a piece of paper to find out the perfect setting for you, your style, and your environment. As for airbrushed, we use an array, anything from Badger's Patriot, Renegade and Sotar 20/20 to the Harder and Steenbeck Infinity. But there are many brands and types available.
Hi picked up your air primer line and a few triads. How long do I have to wait for the air primer to be ready to spray the base? All I keep seeing everywhere is it dries quickly. Not sure what time scale im looking at and the internet has a wide range of opinions on this

I don't have an airbrush and I've never used an airbrush. Where would I get the best airbrush for your paints? How would I even start. What do I need to buy?
There are lots of good airbrushed available on the market! We are big fans of the Badger Patriot as it's fairly resilient, well priced, and easy to use. We also use the Sotar 20/20 for more detailed work. And we were just sent a Harder and Steeneck from our friend Caleb Wissenbeck to try out and we are impressed with our initial trials of it.
Hi there. I bought your airbrush primers and you suggest I dont use thinner just go straight ahead and paint. Is this correct? I started using thinner and I saw paint was runny… so I came here to ask if thinner is nessesary.
Correct, you do not need to use thinner for the Warpaints Air range. They work straight out of the bottle! We recommend using 30 PSI to get the best results.
I hope so as well! If nothing else they should probably so primer sized bottles of the colors they have primers for since I'm sure they determined them to be most used.
I have not ventured into air brushing yet but I am very interested in it. Any recommendations on where to start? What is a good beginner air brush? Thank you.
Badger is widely touted as a very good brand. Specifically the Patriot is very nice. A .5 nozzle/needle seems to be the standard brush size equivalent and .35 is the detail size. Miniac(sp?) Has a good video on what can go wrong depending on different factors and how to fix it
@@ribbitribbit4707 it seems to be! I got the mega air set the other day and quite like it. Little bummed it doesn't come with primer like the smaller set which seems odd but that's on me for not checking the box before ordering.
It's frustrating that the Mega Air set doesn't come with Primer but the 'starter' set does. I'm in Australia so far the only place I've found with the Air Paints are in the sets.. You can get the Airbrush Medium, but no Primer.. what gives?
That's really down to Aussie distributors and if they stocked up on the Mega Set or not. Good thing though, soon all of the Warpaints Air paints, primers, and products will be available on our third retail rack (which will also include Speedpaint). Be sure to mention that to your local retailer.
Nope! Our Warpaints Air range is designed to be used right out of the bottle :) If you're using Warpaints Fanatic for airbrushing then you'll want to thin them.
I like that you're putting mixing balls in your air paints and your quick paints but the paint that needs at most are the acrylic war paints
Always great to see companies competing and innovating with new product. Helps everybody.
Would be nice to learn on nozzle size and PSI.
Came here to say the same thing
Looking forward to seeing more airbrush techniques with the Air range!

i would start by doing the dark color everywhere! then mid tone everywhere but the places you want dark!
You can do alot just by rotating the mini at certain angles rather than needing to coat the entire mini with the dark paint.
I Just received the complete set 👏👏!!
Awesome, ever think of upgrading the website a bit?
We had a lot of cool products to develop first, but I can say that it's in the works.

One light coat with the primer should be enough! And yes, all of these items will be available individually on our new retail rack in early 2022.
what is the recommended psi and what air brush do you recommend?

Hey @ArmyPainter do you have any extras??
what does the primer clean up with? water? alcohol?
Again your voice audio is *very* on the quiet side. Especially in comparison when watching multiple video in a row of various content creators.
At what air pressure does this product work best at?

will there be more colors of big bottles of primer coming out?

We're starting with Matt Black, Matt Grey, and Matte White for Air Primers.
@@TheArmyPainter will the matt white be available in time for the speedpaints possibly?
@@dfwdweghom8902 They shoud be available around the same time.

Thank you! I will check it out. Between the Air Paints and the Speedpaint it's a pretty exciting time for Army Painter.

Can i buy this paint in singels? Pls say that it is so ^^
