Can't believe some people were complaining that Common took too long on this intro. This was the best intro in All Star history! He repped Chicago to the fullest.

Best period. Common captured and brought out the soul of the city of Chicago. Also shouting out NBA greats and street legends that im pretty sure half the audience and world wouldn't know. Im glad Common sticks to his roots as an emcee and doesn't let the fame steer him off the wrong direction unlike some of these new artists these days.
the kids like to talk about "real ones" these days, well take notes kids because Common is a real one.
Incredibly tasteful and inspirational tribute to the city, a love letter to basketball and its native legends, and a heartfelt dedication to Kobe, full of artistry. That spoken word style, considering the subject matter was a genius choice. Pure class. Hands down the best performance I've seen in an All Star Game ever.
