On May 9, will it be a Victory Day parade or Special Retreat Operation?
They will celebrate the victorious retreat day
With only one soldier standing with water pistol
Oh I hope so very much
I hope that in May 9, the Ukrainians parade the POWs they captured as a middle finger to Putin.

I think the stupidy of Arma's AI making it more realistic
That's what makes this so wonderful, I don't have to work to make them look stupid, I just let the AI do what they do best.
Normally the hard part is trying to make the AI look atleast slightly competent

I heard a rumor that the ship Moskva being sunk was just a ruse, it actually had 10 000 Russian elite special forces divers who are going to invade Odesa any time soon now.
The cope is strong with the tankies

You forgot the war crimes, and becoming literally what you announced you were targeting in Ukraine to eradicate in the first place.
Oh, and by wanting to make your "borders secure" because "NATO came too close" - make Sweden and Finland fast track into the alliance - thus gaining something like 1.3k km new NATO border.
thought 1:46 was war crimes but i guess it zombies
If NATO expands ... nuclear war go brrr
But maybe not since Nordic country don't really matter as much as Ukraine
@@JPC4 Thinking about that - are zombies covered by the geneva convention? Are they even citizens? If not - and they do kill soldiers willing to surrender - would that be a war crime ascribed to their former country, or would they be considered as "stateless"?
Don't worry, there are no war crimes committed by Russians in Ukraine, all citizens aged 18-60 have been called by Zelensky as part of the army.

with every war we learn something new as our technology advances.
This time we learned vehicles are useless when the enemy is well equipped with one man lock-on rocket/missile systems (and a fighting spirit)
We also learned that with enough drones as well, a mechanized invasion will never work.
We found ways to break stalemates in WW1, WW2 trench warfare wasnt as prolific.
Tanks were used to great success in WW2 until we developed anti tank rockets, now we are learning that as AT tech progressed, they are far less useful now.
IMO a well equipped and trained soldier is more useful/deadly than a crew in a tank.
War has definitly changed since the big introduction of drones and light anti tank missiles. But as long as artillery is still a big part of a modern battlefield, armored vehicles will always be needed and the role that tanks have on the battlefield can't be replaced with infantry. We still need vehicles with large enough firepower and survivability to push through defensive lines or else we are back in a ww1 situation. Maybe that role will be given to unmanned ground vehicles in the future but we're still quite a few years away from that.
Edit: Tanks however have to go through a lot of changes in the coming 10-15 years, probably with a focus on new generations of active protection systems.
I would just add, that this applies to usual tanks. But tank with modern equipment and countermeasures (and alse infantry support) can stand againts modern AT weapons. Problem is, that russie underestimated the situatioin and sent in very basic equipment without any active protection like Arena and so on.
I am from Ukraine, and I have to tell you: although drones and one man lock-on missile systems do help very much, and may have been instrumental in denying the enemy from capturing Kyiv or Kharkiv... It's still a war of tanks and artillery, as much as infantry. There are full-blown tank battles going on in the fields around Izium. And our Ukrainian forces and Russians have both put artillery to good use.
For better or for worse, the age of tank is not over.
The best lesson from this war is, moronic leaders are for more dangerous than any enemies... wonder if vlad are on Ukraine's payroll...
A 'well-equipped' soldier can't march for 50 miles in a single day without resting.
Tanks is still a viable weapon, they just need to develop a tactic that could exploit its strengths and minimize its weaknesses. Just like any other weapons systems.
