Last night I saw Yonghoon Lee in Turandot at the Sydney Opera House opposite Amber Wagner in the title role. Lee was magnificent. A spontaneous standing ovation at the final curtain. It is the 4th time I have seen him in Sydney and he gets better and better. Not to be missed if he comes your way.
I loved him from the moment when I heard for the first time. A God given beautiful voice in a very humble m an, that touches every heart. His technique is flawless, especially how he handles the passagio and we will hear a lot more fromhim!!
This was a fantastic forum for Yonghoon Lee's recital. His steadiness between the ranges has improved significantly. He is quite an impressive up coming tenor. I hope he continues to do recitals - he packed the house in Chicago!
