I came for watching a hammer attached to a drill, now I'm disappointed
All in all,
A pretty stupid video 🤨😂
Right????

I thought he'd invented that automatic hammer that he makes in Gremlins
Yea that is called clickbait. You got baited.
A moment of silence to us who came here to watch the electric hammer.

Yeah that's the part I don't like. No words at all and finger waggle. At least he doesn't use bothersome music.

Pretty much thumb nail click bait & switch.
I knew this shit years ago.

Whether life is going well or badly, either way a life lived without Christ after the death will lead to eternal torment. Leave your package, trust in the Lord and Savior Jesus and be born again by the Spirit (John 3:3) to be saved and be part of the Kingdom of God! Take up your cross and follow with all your heart God, who will support you and stay close to you until the end if you are faithful e persevering. God calls you to salvation and to His eternal Kingdom, and above all he calls you to one personal relationship with him. The promise of the prophets is also valid for you, that everyone who believes in the Lord will receive forgiveness of sins and the hope of eternal life. For we too were once foolish, rebellious, wandering, slaves of various lusts and voluptuousness, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another. 4 But when appeared the goodness of God, our Savior, and his love towards men, 5 he saved us not by righteous works that we had done, but according to his mercy, by the bath of regeneration and the renewal of the Holy Spirit, 6 which he has abundantly shed upon us, through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, justified by his grace, we were made heirs of eternal life, according to the hope that we have
Top tip - when doing silly, pointless things with hammers always give a thumbs up at the end so people will think that it's clever 👍

You know its interesting when work is already over for the weekend and your still watching work stuff. Gotta learn all the tricks!!
One trick they missed: deliberately bashing a bent, stuck nail into the wood (twice as fast as trying to extract it)
then for the next trick, sawing that piece of timber
Instead of calling yourself "The Maker" you should call yourself "The Wagging Finger". Great Hacks thanks. ;~)

My dad grew up on a farm and later was a pro carpenter. When I was helping dismantle his old two story home place. He said that a hammer was not made to pull nails. You can pull partly driven nails, but disassembly requires a lot more strength and leverage. The block and bending work for either. A lot of nail heads will fail being removed.
Ah yes, the secret hammer feature of drilling a hole in a completely different hammer.

The thumbnail image...an incredible workaround for the average diy homeowner who doesn't own a hammer drill.
I saw this guy use a punch to counter sink a nail WHILE FRAMING. Dude would be packing up his tools for the last time on that site. Same with the plastic lid to protect his thumb 😂
Yep, exactly! 😂 I was a framer before my military days, and I was taught to hold the 8d or 16d nails in the same hand that holds the nail you’re driving into the studs (hold whatever amount you can handle). Place that nail with one good tap of the hammer and in one to three swings that nail should be in, depending on size of nail and your swing of course. With framers, speed is key and the framers that taught me could drive a 16d nail in two swigs. I never reached that level, but it was pretty amazing to watch a seasoned framer drive nails almost as fast as someone using a nail gun👍
I use to hold two nails in a cross pattern. For some reason in a awkward place I nailed the wrong nail trough my finger.
I have a hammer attachment for my drill,so when I hit the button on the drill,it smashes 100 nails in,in a circular fashion,I couldn't work without it!!🔨⚒️
The real MC Hammer. When he shakes his finger "no no no" - you know you can't touch this!

The no-no finger is the best, LOL.
If you are still holding a nail after the first little taps to set it before driving it in then you do not need to be swinging it. Same thing if you are using a plastic lid to hold it.
Хорошие советы. Спасибо!
A lot of good tips here 👏😮💨
Very impressive. I have been swinging your hammer, God probably 35 years. But yet I’m still learning. Damn, good ideas, and a damn good video. Common sense with experience. I would tell you, there is no way to attach a hammer to a drill. Good video. There are always going to be critics. The RUclips cowboys. I love RUclips, but after a customer sees a video made in time lapsed mode. They think a four day project can be done in six hours. Not happening. Hence/this video does not show you how to build some half ass structure. It shows you how to get the most out of your tools. Perhaps it’s me, but a lot of the videos I see on RUclips. Should not be up there. The way people do things, and these particular videos can be dangerous. Where is this video, is made to help people. Mad respect for the author of this awesome video. A true Carpenter!
One good one to add is when putting a nail in the wall use tape whether it's a screw, nail, plaster or drywall. It saves taking a chunk out. 👍
So when hanging drywall in my new home, every screw needs a piece of tape under it??
@@thewayidoit8895 take the tape off after you put nail or screw SA
That trick where you remove the nail while placing a piece of wood underneath the hammer also works well to not leave hammer marks on the wood.
Common with finish carpentry.
But be realistic, all these hacks have an actual tool. Like a nail punch. How long do you think it would take to drill into a sledge hammer head and don't you think you would have found a different way a quicker way, to get a FINISH nail out of a board that's used to frame?
@@NewBluesBros nail punch is good for sinking a nail yeah, but in a pinch I've used a 3" common nail when I don't have the nail punch handy kinda like what's shown in the video. Also that trick for driving a nail in a tight spot using a prybar is pretty much the only way to drive nails in joist hangers where the joists are close together without smashing your fingers and a lot quicker. I've worked as a carpenter for over 20 years and these are "tricks of trade" so to speak. If the condition of the board doesn't matter then yeah I'd rather use a nail puller, but if it's for trim/exposed wood then you don't want to damage the product or else you'll have to replace the whole piece or fill the marks with wood putty or some type of filler. Time is money.

Why drill a hole in a perfectly good hammer? Just use vice grips to pull it out the same way (or, channel lock pliers . . . I use them all the time to "roll" the nail out).
Welcome to the makers Channel. The only channel on RUclips where you can find the best solutions for not existing problems.

So what does the spinning hammer do?
As a son of a carpenter I can add that you should always make a small dent in thinner wood with the back of the nail before hammering the nail in to avoid splitting the wood.
