People that will stop watching because Nina isnt a part of the show anymore are not actually real fans of the show. This cast is brilliant, talented, stunning and hilarious. They are capable of great things on their own without Nina, as good and wonderful as she is. If some of you are not able to realize that it's not the shows fault.

Its so weird to see Nina absent from the panel and interviews . She is the heart of the series.
Actually, the show was about Stefan and Damon this whole time.
Coco Loco In my opinion I would say it's about all 3 of them.
Mandolisa 23 It's actually about the brothers. If you were to read the series it's about the brothers. If you notice in the pilot of series, the first character they open up with is who the series is based around. In TVD's pilot, Stefan is in the opening scene, therefore making the series about him and the people in his life. :) Elena is just apart of his life.
***** That's true, but they always find a way for things to center around Elena and was soooo annoying lol. Great actor don't get me wrong but the character got annoying, at first I liked her and felt sorry for her because of family, then finds out she is being hunted down, but after that omg lol
***** But also on Tvd series info it starts out saying it follows 17 year old Elena who falls in love with centuries old vampire Stefan and his brother, so I consider the series about the 3 of them as the main characters.

I wonder where TVD is going without Elena. The (like) last two seasons have just been going down hill. Honestly, TVD is not my favourite show any more.
don't get me wrong, i still love the show. but i can't seem to understand how it's going to be without elena. i just feel sometimes that; why didn't they just end the show efter season 6? ah, whatever, still going to watch and still going to love it, probably.

I loved them as best mates. I don't know why but for me they just don't have the sparks or the romantic chemistry. Just my opinion. I would have prefered Caroline with Enzo.

As much as I love every single person involved in making this show each and every one of them is as important as Elena was and the show will not be the same without her. I predict that a lot of people will drop the show after Elena left starting with me

Tvd in my opinion can perfectly go on without Nina/Elena, is not Elena's Diary, Tvd is first of all Stefan and Damon's diary, thus the story of the people who have been part of their lives, including Elena but not just or first of all Elena's one. Tvd started with "i am Stefan Salvatore, i am a VAMPIRE and THIS IS MY STORY", IS VAMPIRE AND SALVATORE'S STORY, IS STEFAN'S ONE....so i think that despite elena is and will no doubt a huge part of the show, TVD seserve a possibility to go and can do amazing even without her. Defan deserve it, Stefan and Damon deserve it and the singolar charactera that was there since the start like caroline and bonnie deserve it. And yes i also think delena and Steroline too deserve it, Delena because It continues to be eternal without nina on set and Steroline because it is there and it's a huge part of the story and the main couple like de was and still be
I totally agree..and at the end of the day..wheter the show gets really exciting or seriously boring all depends on the writers..i mean ya i want to see alot of steroline but i dont want them to be like dele a..i want them to hav a real relationship amd i dont want the attention to be on them all the time..i actually want there to be some *PLOT* but we havent had a good plot since season 5

So excited to dee ehats in store for bamon, Kat saying they would be having an interesting relationship with Elena gone makes me happy. Even if their enemies/bestfriends/lovers, I dont care!(ok a part of me wants there to be more), as long as they get scenes together I am ok with it.
this show used to be the best, but now i just don't feel the need to watch it anymore and that's kinda sad, since Kevin left everything is down hill and i don't know but the fact that nina is gone just make it worse. I know people are like "if you're no longer watching tvd after nina's gone then you're not a real fan" for me, real fan means people who were here since 2009, who understood why elena was such an amazing character and where she came from, like she was the soul of the series and the fact that she found love in these two vampire brothers were the highlight of everything! it pains me to say that i don't have the urge to watch it anymore because the writers have fucked up everything i stood up for. The writer of the books herself said that the vampire diaries was the story of delena falling in love, so don't say shit like "there are other characters way more interesting" because i love the cast, and i love all the characters, but for me, tvd will always be the story of delena, so if there's no elena, what's the point anyway??? like for real guys, i'm giving a try but it just seems forced to me now, it's so predictible, like damon will go back to his old habits and stefan will grieve but will be madly in love with caroline, bonnie will probably be blamed by everyone cuz she's the reason elena is dead, so i don't know but i'm just so tired of this shit, like give me something new please.

I completely understand where you are coming from but the panels are done to promote the upcoming season and since she won't be in it there was no real reason to be there.
Rosemary K they show a sneak peek and all that but most of it they rehash what happened the season before and how the actors feel they're character felt at the time. and Elena didn't die. they could have asked her what would Elena be dreaming or thinkiing about while waitng to wake up, she knows the characters and cast and writers she could speculate with all of them. her instagram good-bye was just kind of lame to me.

I feel like if Kat sat between Ian and Paul it would have been so much more interesting I love Kat Ian and Paul's friendship. Anyways it seems this is an unpopular opinion: but I am looking forward to season 7 and what is next for these characters. If you say you are done with the show just leave, don't let the door hit you on your way out. Why continue to follow these things just to complain? Nina left because she wanted to and that's okay. If you are her fan support her in whatever she does next but stop being disrespectful to these actors who stayed and will be working hard.
