It empties dustbin only after cleaning so some folks make a complex set of schedules with each room as its own schedule so the bin will empty after completing each schedule (i.e. after each room), otherwise the robot bin fills up too fast. I just returned the Dreame that piece of crap has no power and keeps disconnecting from the internet! I had to re-install the robot and app over and over again! And cleaning the base board sucked!!

Yes, that's accurate. Most use a time based system controlled through the app. Only Roomba has this feature, but I don't think it's that precise.
