The Central Wakf Board that manages the properties of Islamic places of worship was created based on the central act passed in 1954. The Union Minority Welfare Minister is the Chairman of the Central Wakf Board. The Waqf is also under government regulation. And I agree that the degree to which the control is exercised by the government varies between religions. The Indian form of secularism is different and it need not conform to the Western counterpart. Political concepts are not absolute my friend.

But they wanted to procure Ghee at the Cheapest price possible in the Market(Buy at a discount, sell at Profit). They booted their long term supplier Nandini because a new guy offered them Ghee at even more discount @ Rs 320. Nandini officials too had warned the Temple Trust that its just not possible to make Cow Ghee at Rs 320, but the Temple Manamement wanted to see the profits raining on them. I am struggling to understand why is there such a fuss now. The Temple Managment got what they paid for . Its not just the Ghee supplier but also the Temple Trust that cheated the devotees to earn extra profits.
