Since I haven't covered Vale (NYSE: VALE) in a while and some of you requested it, here is an updated analysis. Don't forget to like and subscribe if you appreciate what I do!
Thanks for sharing great value content! Recently I found $SNOW as a decent stock to buy, as I see data gaining value into the future and companies in the chain of data (mostly software, but might be hardware as well) doing well. AI seems to be overhyped now, but data companies not as much. Also HCT is another stock to watch. Would be great to hear your opinion
Thank you for the comment! I haven't looked into $SNOW since the IPO hype back in 2020-2021. I see that unlike most of the SPACs/IPOs from that time, they are actually growing and doing pretty well. I'll add them to a list with other subscriber-recommended stocks and check them together in a video. Regarding data, I agree. In case you are interested in that, Realty Income is also focusing on renting data centers recently. Another way to gain from the trend. I am not sure I found the right HCT. What's their full name? Healthcare Triangle?
There is a problem with nickel and I hear about it eversince unfamous investment in Norilsk Nickel. That is that indonesia is producing lower nickel grade that could be used in stainless steel but as time goes by they start to refine it so that it can be used also in batteries. Also from what I remember Indonesia slammed export ban for nickel in order to develop processing domestically instead of giving valuable resource for cheap. Now it can mean more supply thus lower price.
Thank you for the comment! I see Indonesia's production as more of a barrier in how high the price of lithium can go in the long-term. If the price is high enough to economically justify refining it into battery-grade purity, then they will do it. Will depend on the supply and demand, of course.
Thank you! I have a more recent review (shorter than a normal analysis) of Vale, plus a couple of interesting stocks, including one that I bought recently here in case you want to watch: ruclips.net/video/6IhVTzZLwks/видео.html 🙌
Thank you! I haven’t heard about the dividend, will take a look 😉 Also haven’t checked Ternium for years. I liked it the last time I did but forgot about them.
An important information, in Brazil is mandatory a minimum of 25% payout per year, so all Brazilian companies are a potential Dividnd King, just give them time
Good point! Vale's policy is a bit more generous, so it probably wouldn’t even be needed at least. I should’ve also mentioned the Government's golden shares. 🥲
Thank you for the comment! The first one is adjusted for a potential fine/lawsuit affecting them (assuming that they include it in the operating cash flow). Their FCF without it would've been higher so the ratio would've been smaller. I assumed that the market would realize that and wouldn't discount them so much since the fine/lawsuit is just a temporary issue 😁

Oops, it is HCP 🙂
Hey! Thank you for the Snowflake suggestion - I just posted a video about them and other subscriber-recommended ones!
Great video! I'm also waiting for iron prices to crash and also Vale to crash at least 50% and then buy with both hands :)
Thank you! Yeah, same for me 😉

Thanks for covering
Thank you for watching! 🙌
Nice video. Thank you again. I habe a very small first position in Vale. If it is going up very good, if it is comming down I buy some more ;-)
Thank you! That’s what I think too, except I don’t own any yet
Similar to VALE, maybe even better Ternium S.A. (TX). Great video as always. MPW just announced the dividend.

Why in the first and worst scenario you assume a better price/FCF ratio?😮

I like VALE.
Thanks lots, great staff
Thank you for watching! ☺️
