Man, you are so correct with the creation of ideas. I feel like it's so easy to fall down the trap of thinking of just one core concept of a game and start making the game and devlogs and posts and what not, but realising all too late that the core idea of the game is flawed and you just pushed yourself into a corner with it. (at least that's what happened to me :D)
Don't underestimate the importance of getting the right idea and don't be hesitant to make drastic changes to your game to accommodate better ones.

Had a quick look through your YT page. You uploads seem fairly consistent, but your thumbnails don't have sort of consistent style to them that makes them look like one of 'yours'.

I do like doing a certain type of thumbnail for a certain type of video though.
