    I dont like how you guys know VERY little about islam and the quran and yet speak with such conviction. Islam is very different to christianity, we dont believe in blind faith. Our religion is very rational and clear, you come to believe in one God with absolute certainty. Pls continue to react to islamic content and you will both be extremely suprised. Good to have greater understanding about the faith of 2 billion humans and the fastest growing religion in the world. God bless :)

Just because we know very little about Islam does not mean we don't have an experience of it, even if just a small one. We present are current understand and experience as it comes. I'd like to comment on your remark @ 19:24. It would be useless to keep on arguing if you tell a religious person to stop referring to their Holy Scriptures. Because while you don't believe in any holy scripture, they do. So the first step before asking any questions that is related to their faith, the two of you have to establish a common ground...either you debunk their faith and prove to them that their Holy Scriptures are wrong, or they prove to you that their faith is true and their Holy Scriptures are true and from God. Then you two can argue about the minor details that are attached to that faith. Otherwise, they will keep referring to their Holy Scriptures and you keep asking how do you know it's true? And why do you have believe such Scripture! (Basically keep running in an endless fruitless circle).

    • @stayspiritual
      @stayspiritual  Год назад +1

      I appreciate the comment, and although I find it very deterministically black and white, there is no arguing from our side. As a matter fact is was completely one sided. We were just responding to a request to react on this particular video. Just because I don't believe in their scriptures does not mean we can't communicate. Many times changes comes through long periods of time, getting to know each other, and finding the things we do agree on. You build trust, and before you know it you find yourselves in place where you and other have become more tolerant and understanding of each other, and probably a bit of you has rubbed off you onto them, and vice versa.✌🙏

      @@stayspiritual you are right of course.
      And I apologize if I sounded offending in any way. Maybe the word argument wasn't the correct word to use.
      I'm merely saying that it's useless to discuss something of you don't have a common ground you start with or at least a reference that everyone agrees upon.
      Just the example you have provided in the video when Dr Zakir said that Angels are created to be completely obedient to God's commands. if the person who asked doesn't believe in the existence of Angel in the first place, then it's useless (in my opinion) to tell him that Angels can't go against God's will and compare them to humans. He doesn't believe in Angels in the first place so what the use of discussing whether the Angels are created completely submissive to God's will or not or how they differ from humans.
      If for example that one who was asking simply wanted to learn about Islam's POV regarding free will or the purpose of Life or the reason behind the way we were created then it's ok to ask but the man in the video was trying to debate the Islamic perspective when he doesn't believe in God in first place.

    Hello, thank you for this reaction, it is nice to see you guys respecting and learning other religions. As for a few questions as to why he didn't answer him fast and get over it. It is because as well as answering to the guy he is also trying to provide an answer to many others with similar questions, so rather than just spit the answer, he is taking the time to make them understand the answer better as well by giving simple examples.
    Also you mentioned that any person according to their belief system can stand up and hold their book saying this is the true book. But it is different in Dr. Naik's case because he is not just blindly giving that statement in front of such a huge audience. If you have researched about him, he is a scholar of comparative religions meaning he has already studied all the major religions (e.g. all the versions of bibles) and knows them by heart in memory. So when he is giving such a statement it is not that he is trying to be egoistic or biased like any other person would be. Rather he is saying it based on his level of knowledge and trying to make others aware and encourage others to research and learn.
    Lastly, the "validity" of the book Quran which was asked in the video is already done by him. Please listen to his other talks which specifically answer why that the Quran is "proven to be magical" as you said. Which are miracles proven by science now. Additionally during his debates he actually encourages his audience to do what you guys mention about coming to a "common ground to agree on somethings...". Best of luck, thanks :))

    1. The questioner watched Dr Naiks DVD.... and his question was based on the statements made in the DVD
    2. What is meant by " the better creation" if i am an enigeer and i created a robot that is programmed to do what i command .... then there is an Engineer that created a robot that can make his own decisions for its self (free will)..... which Engineer would you be impressed with the most? .... for example can any engineer create something as great or as simple as a fly (that can reproduce, fly, and can sustain its self for energy) as small as it is? Would not such an engineer be great? Or the greatest and worthy of being whorshipped? So many arguments for God to recogized as in comparable and worthy..... the questioner how ever is not amazed by God as a Creator, yes its easy for God but for no one else .... that is what makes God Great and the Greatest!

I really do appreciate the fact that I learned to sit through some of your comments because this platform form is actually insightful on how how someone can be so turned off by faith. I honestly found this particular video a bit disturbing because if the idea is to question and learn about different perspectives then it’s important to listen then comment. The video did come off a bit condescending but that’s only my opinion on it. Dr Zakir is a scholar and no everyone agrees with him which is why we all have different views or beliefs, he’s very clear on where he stands and only explaining his beliefs and experiences. Take what you will is his position (free will).. Hey guys, awesome reaction! Thanks for posting your content!! This is not a comment on you guys just on society- How come so called religious people aren't afraid of studying science to high levels, in depth, even if according to atheists it may debunk their beliefs but atheists/non believing scientists seem unwilling to do the same with religions? It appears from the outside like the religious people are more genuinely seeking the truth. Science and religion are not at odds though, Islam explicitly urges believers to study the world around them. A muslim even invented the scientific method. Great reaction video, your criticism of Islam is welcomed and any questions for clarification I'm sure will be happily answered by muslims watching, if wanted in future.

      Thanks for the kind words Taufeeq. I think science gives time mostly to things it can observe. Can a scientist observe heaven and hell, or can a scientist talk audibly with Allah like you and me can? Can you measure sincerity and faith? What is the exact amount of belief needed to appease Allah and can I definitively calculate for certain that I'm in his good graces. Just a few questions a skeptical scientist might ask.

    • @Paper-Z
      @Paper-Z 10 месяцев назад +1

      @stayspiritual
      Heaven and hell is another dimension so science cant act on it, just as consciousness is.
      Also, the amount of belief you need is actually just sincerity. That's all. Just like you sincerely have the intention to marry your wife and commit to her for life. Things might change later, but mostly, people have that sincere intention ( maybe clouded with love😂) to commit for life.
      About all religions being able to just hold up a book and just claim things, Islam actually encourages you to research everything with an open mind but with sincerity to accept the truth when found.
      If there are different opinions on something where only one can actually be true, all you need is to analyze them deeply and sincerely to find the truth or at least eliminate the false claims.
      Islam primarily just tells you to realise there is a creator that created you (even though we can't phantom how he looks like) and then worship him sincerely. Check out the religion of Ibrahim in Islam. He looked at things people were worshipping at that time and realized they were limited (just as Jesus is), and just decided to worship the creator of everything.
      I really think you need an actual discussion with a muslim so you can have a proper back and forth.
      I recommend you join either of these RUclips channels in their regular livestreams ' Hamzas den' or 'Muslim Lantern '

    33:00 True, he’s not the only guy standing on stage holding up a book, rather the opposite is true, there are many people claiming that their religion is the truth, but only one can be true. They can’t all be false because that would mean that everything is false and reality doesn’t exist. And They can’t all be right because they contradict each other. Therefore, we’re left with one option, and it’s that one has to be by necessity the “Truth”. Islam is that truth.

      @malicacidissour Год назад +7

      @@stayspiritual Why Islam? Well, we must utilize our faculty of reason and intellect. We have been endowed with an exquisite mind for good reason. First and foremost, we must analyze our surroundings, and upon doing so, we cannot but arrive at the conclusion that this intricate design must have an ingenious source which is more brilliant than the design itself. According to the first law of thermodynamics, something cannot arise from nothing.For instance, if I were to install solar panels on my roof, I would harness energy in the form of electricity, indicating that the source of sunlight is an extremely powerful and energetic force.
      Secondly, we must ask ourselves why this supremely intelligent entity, whose brilliance is beyond our imagination, would create such a creation without purpose. That would contradict “wisdom” which is an integral component of intelligence.
      Thirdly, this creator must be singular due to the ‘infinite regress’ argument which posits that there cannot be an infinite series of preceding events or causes, so the origin must be one and uncaused out of necessity.
      Fourthly, if everything was created with a purpose by a single intelligent creator, then that creator must inform us of that purpose.
      Finally, why Islam? Because there is no other viable option. It is either believing in pagan idols which clearly cannot be the intelligent uncaused entity or believing in an illogical, edited and altered book which speaks of the creator having offspring. It is not befitting of an infinite creator to be limited by having children or incarnating as a created being. Islam is the only logical conclusion because “Islam” means submission to God, and submission to the omnipotent source of creation is the only rational conclusion.

    I get that you try to understand concept with your own view and i like that. You're challenging information that gets to you and that's what is also asked many times in the Quran. Our whole life is a journey, and not an easy one.
    God doesn't need prayer, we need prayer. We are the ones needing it, for remembrance and for connection with God.

    Around 16-17 minutes in to the video Justin said something very profound.....he said he had to become atheist to 'get out of the scripture'....that's what we Muslims start with too...we declare their to be no god i.e. atheist...except Allah...it therefore naturally follows you become Muslim once you rid yourself of all other religious bias. The little flavour you keep getting of similarity to this religion and that religion is because all religions came from that original one true religion (Al-Islam) from the dawn of mankind.....the differences in our view are just the corruptions people put on it through time. Keep researching, keep learning guys and keep reacting!

    Its a very limiting human concept to take Allah as a person who has an ego.. Allah is not a person who is egotistical and demanding and narcissistic. These are adjectives for subjects. Imagine you cook a very healthy meal.. You first pick the fresh ripe ones from your garden (even tho you planted the same seeds, they dont grow or come out the same), cut them, slice them, mix them, cook them on fire, and turn them into a nourishing delicious meal, knowing all along that you are going to eat it, chew it, swallow it, your stomach will break them further into pieces and all that.. So are you in this case an evil, punishing, egotistical person? Or is the food useless because u decided its fate? No. It keeps you alive. Its tranformed, not destroyed in essence. Just as a perspective on how we fall into the trap of projecting our humanity on Allah and evaluate him as that. Sending love from Istanbul guys 😇

    A Being with No free will is just like angel. Do the command . No reward. No desire. No feeling. Plain.
    But Free will, you are human.you have feeling, you can feel happy, you have emotion and most importantly ;
    Because there will be the best reward : you will meet and see Allah ( the best reward). For muslim it is very special if we can see Allah the Creator. The Al Mighty that we cant see in this world. and another reward you can enter paradise ( jannah) . Those rewards , you cant even describe it how amazing they are.
    It is beyond .

    33:29 when we say our book is the ultimate truth and words of God because we have Prove of how we have preserved it in its complete original form. One piece of evidence is that Muslims every year fast one month during the month of Ramadan in this month there’s a night prayer in which a chapter of the Quran is recited by heart and if the person reciting makes mistakes or forgets someone behind helps him. This has been happening from the time of the prophet. We have 6 year olds memorising the whole Quran and every Muslim knows 50-100 verses at least by heart

    1. Angels don't have freewill,jinns do.( Bad jinns are called devil/shaytan)
    2. Ofcourse he is gonna use the scripture, beacuse he believes in it. We believe in Qur'an beacuse it has scientific miracles mentioned 1400 years ago which science is discovering now.( I suggest to hear scientific miracles in Qur'an by Dr zakir naik)
    Qur'an also has prophecies which came true and has numerical and mathematical and historical miracles. It presents complete way of life as well. Also Qur'an challenged 1400 years ago to make one chapter like it and smallest chapter is of 1 line. But in 1400 years not a single human being could come up with a single line like the Qur'an. Qur'an also says that had it been from other than god, there would have been contradiction. But there is no single contradiction and the so called ones have been refuted by Muslims.
    3. Btw keep emotions aside while reacting. "There is no space for emotions in ground of knowledge"
    4. Btw the life of this world is a test.
    Also this guy is just not a debater he is very knowledgeable and has good memory. Millions of people watch him and for a reason. Not beacuse of emotions.
    5. He doesn't only speaks with emotions that this book is most logical. He has proofs unlike those Christians Preachers.
    6. Highest level of paradise is jannatul firdous, if we wanna go there we gotta work hard.
    7. Why the one on right has so much hatred against scripture? Unlike others Qur'an has all sort of miracles and no contradictions and no mistakes.
    Btw we Muslims don't trust the scripture because of no reason.
    8. He said non intelligent people can go to jannah if u r truthful.(u should have paid attention)
    9. Not all smart people go to jannah either if they don't accept the truth, Allah knows best.
    10. U wanna know book is valid? Then watch the video where he proved it with scientific miracles.
    11. He is not only defending, but spreading the truth with authentic references and proofs and is not shouting with emotions"jesus(pbuh) loves you!!!" Like those Christians preachers.
    12. Also listen to 38 scientific mistakes in bible by Dr zakir naik.
    -btw if u have any question especially regarding Islam then feel free to ask.

    I understand your points. and I agree with you that Dr. Zakir, wasn't convincing in his answer. because if I'm an Atheist, why should we refer to a book I don't believe in.
    For a Muslim, what Dr. Nazik is convincing because he believe on the same book.

    A human being has a free will, and it's the only creature with the free will, and they will enjoy this free will in paradise, where there would be no check and balance upon anything, and a human would be capable of doing anything without anyone's interruption. That's why a person with free will is good than a person with no free will

    Life is a TEST in Islam 😂 this is islamic conviction. Allah of course is the all knowing and with his infinite knowledge he knows how every oraganism will act, BUT he doesn't obliges you to do wrong, you do wrongful things when you follow your Nafs/ego or Satan. Hence you're accountable for your actions, and you will be rewarded accordingly in the Afterlife. He created you in the best form, gave you mind and will, sent you messangers, books and prophets to guide you, but you choose your own distiny. Really you need to read the Quran, read Surat Al Baqraa/ The Cow and you will understand alot.

    Both guys holding the book on the other sides are from the same truth, and they mean the same thing. But the obvious boring question is which one is pure and intact. Islam teaches that Adam is a God worshipper, but his children derail through time, and God sends prophets with miracles to guide the nations to not forget the creator of Adam and master of everything created.

    Why is free will better than no free will?
    Rational answer: because noone wants to lose independent control of themselves.
    Logical: because emotionally we are humans and if we lose our ability to make decisions for ourselves and are forced to do things, especially against our likes and dislikes then we would ne effectively be tortured emotionally. Further, it wear you down mentally.

    He said the creation with free will is better, think of it this way a mechanic makes a robot that functions the same way, compared to one that has control and has its own moods and interacts diffirently and so on, which one do u think is a better "creation?" Obviously the robot with control, its more advanced. So you're basically asking the mechanic why woukd u create a better robot? Like why not why wouldn't i create a better creation?
