Came home stinking of Alf - diesel. How did it ever work underground ? Pity the 2 poor staff crewing it close up,in the open air , huge respect and thanks.
When I used to volunteer at the Foxfield Railway, I remember seeing groups of children (probably around middle school to high school age) trespassing on the line just outside the main station. Every single time I saw them I would stop what I was doing and just watch them and I would think to myself "When's the train back?" It saddens me to think that people actually think that railways are safe to walk on even if it is a heritage railway.
Best pledge was " don't trespass on railways because it's dumb". This is so true.
Warning- walk on train tracks at your own risk, Thomas will run you down with no mercy.
I love seeing posts from the second oldest heritage railway in the world!
Thanks Liz, Janice and team. It is great to see you standing up for rail safety, mental health and other matters.
3:23 is just brilliant
Good effort, everyone!

Nice there's been Thomas & Friends safety books on sale. 🙂
Those Welch Thomas books are a great touch to the atmosphere

Doesn’t this also refers to Sir-Haydn and Douglas’s rough-riding and derailments?
