It is though. It has a short 4-shot range in auto and is a monster in single bc it retained the same damage but with an increased fire rate. I don't know the exact RoF but in single, it could get a 230ish TTK. If you can hit the cap with the AMP, it should be much faster.

I love these redundant kits that don't do JAK shit necessarily, but turn a gun that is a burst only variant of another, into, the gun it is a variant of.
Not against these, entirely, but that's only if they worked like a cosmetic difference. It's already redundant as is existing, locking up slots to be unmodifiable doesn't justify it's existence, even if they make a new attachment for the "conversion" kit. Stat differences help them, but they wouldn't make sense logistically, but for gameplay reasons it's fair. Just they really should've just made it a cosmetic thing.
Though the "Lachmann Shroud" should've never existed in the first place.
I digged this gun back in S5 of MWII, used it all the time on that DRC map. I think that map should be brought back into the rotation imo.

It's slightly better than the MP5. I've only used it one time and it's deadly up close. Just that the reload time for 30 rounds is almost as long as an LMG for no freaking reason. Had to use mag holster to at least make it viable to use for RNG.

If you do feel like this kit isn't special and that the damage numbers aren't right, that may actually be the case. I have the new renetti aftermarket and its stats say upper body shot is 60 which should be a 3 shot kill.. it doesn't 3 shot when I was using it
Was hoping this aftermarket part truly gave us a different variant of an MP5. Even different ironsight and all. But nope… disappointed

After the video for the semi-auto Renetti, you absolutely should play some more Combat Champions in their play test again. It began 5/31/24 at 3pm EST and ends 6/2/24 11pm EST. After learning the basics, the game is absolutely a blast.
Remember when COD was worth buying guys? Goin in to game stop just so excited to get your hands on that sweet sweet physical copy only to be let down in 6 months when they announce the new shit COD again.

I love this mp5. I tried a full mobility load out and it shreds. The recoil takes some getting used to but it’s really good for running and gunning

Played a few games with the Kit on it, at least just with me feels better than the 3 burst regular shroud for sure. its not meta but for sure fun though
It's not the same. It actually has a 4 shot kill range. Single shot is a monster if you can hit the cap.
Full-auto is average, but semi-auto shines if you can hit the fire rate cap.
i don't even play MW3 or watch any content of it. but handler is an exception. would love to see more xdefiant content one day though!

You’re bugging, this is a 4 shot mp5 with better recoil and a free suppressor. This gun is actually really good, you can feel a difference.
Handler, you HAVE to try out the Rival 9 Burst Conversion. It is so nasty now. Trying to let you know before it is nerfed, best burst gun in the game by far
the extended barrel allows it to have a 4 shot kill in close range which the normal mp5 doesnt have

since the M16 full auto kit turns it close to the old M4 from MW19, I assume this kit will turn the shroud into the old MW19 MP5 (once it's officially released with updated stats.)

the renetti semi auto conversion kit was also available, think it was 10 or 15 pistol headshots
The same thing happened with the Renetti aftermarket parts. You need 15 headshot kills with pistols but I had both the MP5 and The Renetti aftermarkets unlocked already. The Renettis become slower firing but a four shot in most ranges, so its fun to akimbo, maybe worth checking out.
It was the first thing I thought, but Cor45 is better in that sense. Maybe it'll get retuned later.
