Very specific question I know but I have been researching the facial changes that occur from chronic mouth breathing and am wondering if this could be related.... Is there any relation between these muscles and the appearance of the neck? I’m specifically referring to that ‘double chin’ look that some people have. Could this be under-use of the muscles causing the hyoid to be positioned incorrectly? Really struggling to find answers on this. Thanks.
