Very impressive video and encouraging to purchase one but havent mentioned all how much warmth /heat it gives out . Does it warm the room adequately. My room is 3500 x 3900 Whats yrs please
I have the same fire and it's brilliant. I can get over 5 hours heat from 1 litre and it heats the whole living room to 21 C . I bought a fan that sits on top and is operated by heat to move the heat around the room. I've found Polish ethanol to be the best for heat and no odour.
How much fuel does it use? How much heat does it give out? What’s the cost comparison to using a more conventional heater? Did you get paid to make this or get the item for free? Feels like it’s not really a review tbh.
Hi. We have a large vaulted hall in the barn. We have underfloor heating but we have a fire when it’s very cold. Can we expect some heat from the fire - we appreciate it won’t be like the wood fire but some reviews say the heat output is very poor. We have a heat pump so this fire would improve our already green credentials! Many thanks.
I had a large (about 3'x3x2') Tudor-style brick fireplace in my cottage, with an open flue and chimney. On days when I could not be bothered to build and light a proper fire, I used a 1' wide bioethanol box in the grate instead. It does not heat as well as a wood or coal fire, ie, it's never going to be a 'roaring fire' but it will take the chill off the room and provide heat if you are seated nearby. If you do not have an open flue/chimney it probably provides even more heat.
In technical terms, bioethanol fireplaces produce around three kilowatt-hours (kWh) of heat when the fuel gauge is fully open. To give you an idea of how hot this is, the average electric fire will generate around 2kWh of heat. In this way, if you own an ethanol fireplace, heat levels are not something you will have to worry about in the deep midwinter. If anything, you may find that a full flame is a little too hot for your tastes. Fortunately, the easily adjustable slider on the fuel box will allow you to reduce the strength of the flame as you desire.
This is indeed true. I bought bioethanol fireplace about 2 months ago. I live in a 130 cubic meter house. And at full gauge it becomes too hot. I turned it down to less than half and it was a pleasant temperature and the liquid remained burning well over 7h.

Hi, the main issue I have with a wood burning stove is the air pollution which is significant even on the latest eco design ones, so much so that the latest research suggests they should be sold with health warnings similar to those on cigarettes. What is the impact on air quality as a result of burning bioethanol?

After a few years how are you finding the fireplace? Thinking of getting one
Do hou think the fuel is cost effective and does the sto e really warm a standard size room
wish they shipped to the USA can't find anything like this for sell here.
Do you need to keep open window for oxygen supply or how does it work?
Do you need to open a window for a wood burner or a coal fire 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️

Hi , do you just let the fuel burn out ? I’m worry about going to bed and leaving it for the night .
You simply close the lid on the burner and it extinguishes the flame completely.
Does it generate any heat??

None, it doesn't need a chimney.
You don't need a chimney
Expensive to run then?
Doesn't look like it will throw out much heat and the fuel is quite expensive.
