It makes sense. All of the characters are learning magic from the church. So I doubt they’d want anyone to know dark magic since it’s mostly the enemies and a select few who are not for the teachings to learn it. That’s why only 3 (4 if you include Hapi (dlc)) learn dark magic. Also lore wise those who do learn it might have agarthian blood, or have dealt with them directly.
Yeah i would TOTALLY consider nearly 1/1 copying the looks of an attack from a 15 (correct me on that) YEAR OLD WII GAME to be considerable as caring about an attack

If you look closely, Dedue is actually a War Monk for gauntlet purposes, which is why he has Heal
