About Delta snafu. Definitely Delta is a sinking ship and it always meant to happen. Poor recovery from crowstrike must be attributable to delta's underlying failures and incompetency. 7 years ago delta had staff assignment snafu and cancelled hundreds of flights. 2 years ago they had same snafu and cancelled hundreds of flights. Delta's demise always meant to happen anytime and crowdstrike merely saved their face this time. My pregnant wife and I had been stuck in Orlando since Sunday. Our flight was 7pm Sunday. They delayed over and over, at 12am they cancelled the flight. They couldnt find alternative for the next 48 hours. They said FAA is to blame. No, they had not enough flight attendants (needs at least 4 per FAA regulation) and the captain was timed out. This is not FAA thing. This is purely failures on delta's end. Today, my pregnant wife and I had been waiting for 7pm flight from Florida to NY after 2 days of being stuck in Florida. They changed my wife's flight to Atlanta from our destination to our NYC home for no reason. They changed my flight to 10pm, and then switched to 730pm departure at 7pm while i was stillin my hotel room for 10pm boarding. Now delta cancelled all flights. This is insane and wild incompetency that should not happen with national commercial airliner. Delta has shown so many red flags and signs that it is a sinking ship. Its stock is definitely overvalued and at anytime stock value will reflect reality, plunge, and meet its end. It just took too long for the market to find out Delta has no capacity to be a national airliner. This whole scheduling snafu and their problem with shortage of staff have nothing to do with crowdstrike or FAA regulations. Delta is just falling apart and signs are prevalent and haunting. The markets (commerce and stock market) will adjust by revealing the huge internal issues beneath the sights of the tip of ice berg.
Its amazing how in just a matter of hours financial "experts" can claim they know why millions of investors worldwide were thinking when they made a trade. 😂
