I came in from the trailer thinking maybe this will be at worst a Fury Road B-side, meaning even if I don’t love it I’ll get my money’s worth. Oh no, Miller is a full-on madman. He evolved the narrative, he evolved the world building, he brought back a lot of old school vibes and shots, oh and upped the brutality. It’s pathetic that there’s anyone complaining whatsoever. This blows away anything that’s come out this year except maybe Dune 2 🔥
I loved Fury Road and can't wait to see Furiosa. George Miller unleashed is just a mad dog of a filmmaker. A beast. He's awesome. I know a lot of people wanted to see Mel come back and do a sequel to Thunderdome, but besides Tina Turner and Thunderdome itself, I wasn't crazy about Mel's last outing as Max back in '85. I thought the end chase with the train track and all the kids made it feel goofy like an extended Ewok movie. The best Mad Max Films, in no particular order, are Mad Max, The Road Warrior, and Fury Road. Fury Road took all the mayhem and madness of the saga and cranked it to twenty. The Warboys were a trip, the villain Immortan Joe was absolutely creepy and terrifying, the set pieces were incredible, and the action was unrelenting. I also love how that nightlight wasteland was shot with the silver hue. Amazing contrast. I can't wait to see Furiosa.
I watched this opening day. A lot of people find the run time as a negative (slightly), but I disagree. Like a lot of people , we waited a long time to get back into this world, and frankly, I didn't want it to end. I could've handled another 30 minutes. Here's hoping there's a directors cut at the 3 hr mark. Lol. I'm so bummed out that this film isn't performing as expected, cuz I WANT MORE!
Good review looking forward to watch this

It felt like a Hollywood taking the money and run film.
@@step2424 What film, Thunderdome?
It’s not a Hollywood film#Australia
@@BrianSalazar-kn5ng It's still Hollywood.

George Miller nailed this like a Maverick Visionary Baller!!🎯💯🙌
Thought it was better movie than fury road only missing mad max
Hey this isn't me lol
Why am I watching a movie about Mad Max without Mad Max?
Where does it say it’s about max? Mas max is a brand btw.
