From his perspective, he couldn't tell how deep it was and it looked like Brennan had a beat on it. Bobby did what he was supposed to in that situation and go halfway. He started toward second as soon as he could see it was dropping but Brennan was just faster. The first base coach needs to tell him to go or come back since he has a much better angle. Either he didn't give the signal in time or Bobby didn't hear him. It's one of the tougher baserunning situations in baseball and you just have to give credit to the right fielder for reacting so quickly.
Let's throw this 1 away. Bat's were cold & the pitching all around was hard 2 watch. Can't give up 15+ hit's and expect to be in many games when @ the same time... we're getting more strikes then a bowling tournament. On to the next 1.
Was definitely not a fluke and I'm a Guards fan. Cleveland's pitching gave up 16 hits while their offense only generated 4 hits. They came out flat today and Boston did not, simple as that.
