the boyz is actually quite known for their brighter concepts but they do both super well! they don’t have an underlying storyline but whisper is connected to their comeback Roar! they’re famous for their intense and synchronized choreographies. for title tracks i recommend roar and watch it (darker), lip gloss and nectar! i also recommend their performances from the competition show Road to Kingdom.
as far as i'm able to understand it Maverick has a concept that references Battle Royale the Japanese novel and movie, a group of teens are sent into a deserted island with explosive collars on their necks and forced to kill each other until one remains (yes, very Hunger Games-ish, but this one came first)) for entertainment. So in the MV you see them attack each other, make teams and then being forced to betray to be the last man standing, etc. In the end Eric succeeds but it seems his suffering isn't over yet. So far we haven't gotten a Maverick storyline continuation, I don't think.
