I have iMT 1L Turbo and I have driven from Kerala to Gujarat (2400km) on my car at the top speed of 151KM/H and I can say this is the best in the segment. Car was rock solid and there was not even a hint of insecurity when I hit that speed! Go for it!

Hi brother very nice video and very scenic location. I am confused between IMT and AT transmission on Sonet. I prefer drive diesel engines only because of torquey nature. Please suggest which one to go for.
The main difference between imt and automatic is in automatic you just have to slot the gear into D and release the break rest is just like an activa u just have to control the accelerator breaks and steering there is no clutch where as in IMT u dont have a clutch but u need to change the gears from 1st to 2nd accordingly.... in IMT all the clutch operations that u have to do in a manual is automatically done by a computer system
I am also one who prefers diesels in my opinion i wont choose an IMT over automatic. If i do need to enjoy the gear shifts i would choose a manual

@@revlimitsI have sonet gtx+ petrol but we felt like the suspension is on stiffer side we can feel every pit holes on the road inside the car but the suspension is great in highspeed stability it’ll give that confidence to take corners at higher speed

I felt the suspension is tuned to to a medium setup where its neigther too stiff nor soft it comes in the middle ground, i think the one on i20 nline is too stiff compared to that sonet is comfy

You should not rest your hand on the gear lever in an iMT transmission car because the clutch gets actuated based on hand touch on the gear lever.

why are you reving a diesel engine these much.The engine is very torqey in nature,and very tractable, you can put third gear at speed of 30, still engine will pull quite effortlessly . Do you think it"s good idea to drive a brand new diesel car in top revs?Also power will be tappered after 4000 rpm in diesel cars. So no point in reving these much!!
I know its not good to rev till the limiter i just wanted to show the turbo lag and when it kicks in. So as to that i have only revved once in the whole video on 6:50 that to only under 4k rpm. In this car the turbo kicks in at above 2k rpm and mostly i shifted around 3k. I know the power band is btw that 1.5 kto 4k, so i challenge you if you could time stamp any portion of the video i go beyond 4k rpm.
Also even if the engine is torquey it isnt good to go at 30kmph on 3rd you would be destroying the engine
@@revlimits bro you may be aware of run in period or break in period, it's preferably to keep engine rpm below 2k (for new diesel cars) atleast for first 2000 kms .It will allow the engine to settle down,and evict the probability of unwanted wear to new mechanical parts . In this video most of the time you are running in 3k rpm mark or above that.(for a diesel engine perspective it's comparatively high)👍 Don't know about imt, I am using diesel manual i don't felt any turbo lag noticeably!! Unless your engine is not knocking you are good to go in 3rd gear, it's quiet normal for a diesel engine.
