I have read several articles about Joan Glancy hospital and have never read anything about the 1st child that was born there. She was named Glancy Jones after the people who helped start it. She lived in Norcross all her childhood. Her education was paid for by the Glancys. She now resides in Snellville and her current is Glancy Jones Dunn.I think this would be interesting to include in the history.

I'm glad it was included in the video and it was especially nice to learn how the legacy of the hospital's history has been preserved with the expansion of the hospital.

I was born there 1964. In 1984 I did my nursing clinical there. I got to watch Dr. Mason, whom delivered me, deliver a baby!! It was pretty cool!! Black and white checkered floors. Rotating through the nursery was still the big book they registered the babies in was still my name close to the front.😂
