I'm just a random black guy from America this guy inspired me to play guitar when I was younger and inspired me honestly to become a better musician in general. His music still means a lot to me as it does to you guys as well. As far as I'm concerned, he is the best guitarist I've heard even to this day.

I don't see why there are so many people complaining. The guy plays well, he's creative and I love his improvs. The point isn't just to play the song like it is originally. This dude challenged himself to play it up a bit, and the result is pretty interesting...sounds good to me.

No, I didn't say that, nor did I intend it. However, many people are caught up in the idea that anybody who can play a pentatonic, a blues, a major, and a minor scale at 120 bpm is amazing. When you start bringing more foreign scales such as lydian, dorian, locrian, augmented, diminished, and can play them clean at 200+ bpm, that's much harder to achieve.
My question as well. I guess the whammy bar messed up the tuning? At least as evidence by his Weekend improv video that given the right circumstances he could play it.
