This 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz convertible is an absolute showstopper! From its sleek lines to its luxurious interior, every detail speaks to the epitome of classic American automotive design. It's no wonder why this beauty commanded such attention and fetched such an impressive price. A true collector's gem indeed!

I prefer Lincolns over Cadillacs but that Eldo is UTTERLY STUNNING. I'm a Professional Photographer and I also dabble in interior design. That absolutely BREATHTAKING shade of gold is also stunning! Absolutely gorgeous! (FYI though.....it's pronounced "Bah-ritz" not "Bee-ah-ritz" and it's "Bro-hmm" not "Broom".....just a friendly note).

Hi Josh. The interior is really Buffalo Leather?
It is very possible because an airline pilot I knew was restoring precisely a 1958 Cadillac that was his grandfather's.
I did not have the fortune to remember what specific model it was (this was in 1974), but I did have the fortune to drive that Beautiful white on the white 2-door hardtop.
It "flew" in a "straight line" with the 4-speed Hydramatic but...
The car had an Ostrich Skin trim interior and the smell was unbearable in hot weather.
    Hahaha!

YES! The '57 and '58 Eldorados came standard with Cape Buffalo leather upholstery.
You mentioned a Cadillac with Ostrich leather... I know that the 1969 cars like Sedan and Coupe DeVille and the DeVille convertible were sold with Ostrich print leather upholstery.
      Pretty wild!

Most of the (optional) features you mentioned were standard for the Bairritz Model I believe.

  • @slicksnewonenow

That's a beautiful Eldorado... If I remember correctly, the only options available on the '58 Eldorado were air conditioning, air ride suspension and a power opener/closer for the deck lid... Other than those, everything else was standard.
Also, the pronunciation you're looking for is "brome"... Brougham.
    Cheers

First automatic trans = 1940 Oldsmobile. Answer to trivia = 1967-70 Eldorado.

What, is this guy like 7' tall??
Gorgeous...the gold over red is really rich looking. Buffalo hide, if that's really what that is, was definitely not offered, but whatever, all that red and chrome is on another level.

That is one beautiful Cadillac but at $200,000 to much for my budget very nice 👍

Yep it's too much money for the average Joe's budget but worth it if you can afford it. 3 deuces gonna be thirsty too. My Dad's 58 Cadillac didn't have 3 deuces and got 22 hwy! We'd vacation every summer to the Catskill Mountains N.Y. early 60s 🤗

A frame off restoration on this car probably cost about 100.000 dollars. If they sell it for 200.000 after the dealers cut, and taxes, probably walk away with 40, 50 grand...not so great.

You really need to learn the correct pronunciation of Biarritz as well as Brougham!!! FYI.... you also say that some of the standard items that came with all Cadillacs in 1958 are optional....Fantastic car here but i still like my 57 Biarritz and my 58 Eldorado Brougham!!

Sorry, it’s pronounced Biritz and Brome ( phonetically) , even worse than AI, the 57-58 Biarritz were the most beautiful American convertibles of the 1950’s
