Congrats on almost reaching 220,000 subscribers!
I can definately see you wearing long satin gloves with the first number...it looks amazing !!!
I'm suscribed already
Rich women keep it simple.
There was a movie from the 1980's called Working Girl with Melanie Griffith where she went from cheap looking secretary to executive. I remember a tip from that movie I used all through my corporate career. Accessories should not upstage your face. When people look at you they should see your face first, accessories later.
Your all black outfits are so classy and rich looking. Even with the black Tee. I'm a fan of skinny jeans myself, but wider (black) pants are stylish also.
At least your t-shirt didn't say Balenciaga 😬
Yes. So true.
Great video! All simple but effective suggestions! People overthink accessories etc instead of keeping it simple to look classic and sophisticated.
I’ve watched a few fashion/beauty channels for the mature woman. But this channel is the best one, in my opinion. I agree with your taste and sensibilities. Thank you for the content you produce! 🌺
I think anyone can wear a pair of Levi’s and a white tee paired with a couple of investment pieces (quality/designer bag, shoes and simple jewelry) and always look chic and classic. Everything doesn’t have to be high end and logos to get a great look. Love your style and videos!
I look terrible in white. And somehow the T-shirt style doesn't look good on my neck area, because of my short-waisted torso the length of most t-shirts also do not work for me.
Love everything and totally agree on handbags!! I’m not a “plastic”person either!!
the black slip dress is gorgeous!!
I love the sparkly dress, lol. But I would have a jacket or shawl or something like that.
Frederique, you are adorable and your advise is golden. Thank you for keeping us classy.x
Great tips, Frederique. Even if you are broke and wearing basic no-name clothing, that classic high quality handbag elevates everything. Add some stylish jewelry and your look is done.
So true!
You always make me happy❤
So sweet x
Love the lipstick shade you're wearing in this video! It looks great on you.
Thank you so much for all your advise . Definitely helps a lot.
My suggestion for elevating simple basic clothes is original jewelry - I have several pieces (costume jewelry, mostly glass beads and wire) purchased from stalls at music festivals years ago, or little shops on vacation - in my opinion, glass beads look more elegant than plastic. Re the bright blue dress - try it over your black slip dress, maybe with blue shoes if you have them - or another black item. You’re right, it doesn’t suit your colourIng, but if you put a colour better for you next to your face, it might work. It’s a beautiful, elegant dress.
Love your relaxed look narrating this video, and btw your tips on how to style a blouse beautifully are so helpful for me! Thank you so much 🥰
Love how you show us examples of what you have in your closet. I think that people also underestimate the simple things like, clean and ironed clothing, clean short and neat nails, that includes your toe nails and healthy looking skin and hair. I also think that looking after your teeth is very important, they don't need to be brilliant white or super straight, but have a check up and a clean every 6 months. It's good for your health and it will help your overall confidence, which will make you feel and look amazing 😁
If that’s the Amazon house brand cotton beige sweater, I’m wearing it right now! Cashmere gets too hot if I’m moving around a lot (California).
I follow the "one skin rule." If I'm wearing a shorter hemline, I cover up my neckline and arms. If there is some decollate, I make sure to cover up my legs. With off the shoulder, I make sure that it doesn't reveal too much bust and cover up the knees. So, I show off enough to feel sexy but not enough to look cheap.
I ordered that camel sweeter from your Amazon store and I love it so much I now have it in black and grey also. The perfect mid weight sweater to elevate every outfit!
Can you link me to the sweater, please? I've been through the french capsule and can't find it there. It's the chasmere v-neck, right?
Thanks!
I did too! Agree!
@@susanmesko7411 Can you point me to the site where you ordered it, please? I can't find it in the French capsule. thank you!
@@lulujeanne1 if you go to the area just under her video there are links and they’re all via Amazon. She has her own collection pieces there!
@@susanmesko7411 I've searched the fall, spring, and french capsules and can't find that sweater. Can you tell me specifically where you found it? I feel like a I must be blind.🙃 Thanks!
Good advice, thank you, Frédérique! 😊
Can you do a video on classy sleepwear?
Beautiful ideas for any woman ❤️🎄🙏🏼
Hi Frederique,
I always end up watching you over the others. Even the ones I like and have watched for years. You are charming and always on target!
I feel that my outfit is elevated if I wear a silk scarf or a nice leather belt, a pair of gold earrings or a gold necklace, and good leather shoes. I don’t feel elegant in sneakers, I prefer boots for cold weather and sandals for warm. Of course, there are times when nothing else will work, but in those cases, I like a simple white leather sneaker rather than a retro colorful running shoe.
Thanks for the advice! Merry Christmas 🎄
Love blue dress for summer yess
I have that Amazon camel top and wear it so much! It’s my go to top when I don’t know what to wear. Thanks for you help and inspiration this year!
That striped shirtdress really suits your skin tone and looks great on you. Such a classy look compared to the bright blue print dress. I think we can all shop our own wardrobes and create elevated looks.
‘Less’ is definitely more! x
Have enjoyed following you Frederique.
Thank you for such sensible, yet fun, content. Wishing you, and yours a joyous festive season and a healthy and happy 2023. x
@FrederiqueBros oooooh so excited to learn that I’ve been randomly selected as a prize winner. Thank you so much. x
Loved that camel sweater! Guilty of the jewelry mistake here... You give really good advice. Thank you!
merci pour cette video frédérique
bisous! loved this video. you look so elegant in your narration clips with the simple hair, mu, and beige knit!
Oh thank you!
A great video. You look great in any thing.
Wonderful, wonderful video.
Thank you for your good video as always. We always learn something.
It seems that you might be an inverted triangle body shape (with great shoulders) with a longer torso.
I think that you could balance that with a bit more volume on your lower half. Higher waist pants would make your legs look longer I think.
You did such a great job with this video Frederique!!! 💗🙏🌺
As always your videos are fantastic and yes you don't need a million dollars to look classy!
Oh thank you!
i have a grey boy bag and a black double flap….i don’t wear them much but i would like some ideas when to where it more, please! thanks for another great video🎄🎄🎄🎄
an great video always less is more xxxx
That outfit that you say looks frumpy on you with the colorful shoes and belt, still looks amazing!
Thank you. I've learned so much from you.
You are so welcome
How do you feel about the trend in wider pants/jeans? Thank you for your advice!!
I have been lucky enough to score two beautiful handbags at op-shops for less than $20 each. Not designer, but great quality.
That is awesome!
Love your video's , you look amazing xx
Bonjour Frederique !!
Simple always looks best imo I have had my Cartier love bracelet on my wrist for 22 years, just one not 5 stacked, simple rings a classic Chanel flap and I can be in a T-shirt and simple Levi’s jeans and always look pulled together. I have always saved for classic pieces because they are timeless. I have really simplified my wardrobe in my 40’s and don’t follow trends but do only what makes me feel my very best 😊
Thank you ❤. Very helpfull. I need to clean out my closet so this is usefull to know what needs to go😊. Everything thats loud and I feel uncomfortable wearing. Actually, I will check if you have a video about that. I feel it’s very hard for me to decide what to keep and what needs to go. I have way too much clothes that I never use, they just take up space😢.
I love your eye lashes 🤩...show us how to make them one day

Fun! You might consider cutting off the blue dress and making it into a nice top. It would look nice with white jeans. What do you think?
Great idea!!
I have a suggestion for people that do have large baggy sweaters don't take my advice to heart but you might want to try washing them in hot water and putting them in the dryer that should tighten them up depending on the fabric they're made up of
I love your channel..it’s the best
You're the best!
I love your sling pumps but I couldn't find them.
Hi Fredieque. I love your channel. Can you comment on the fit of the camel V sweater? Is the fit fitted of snug. I’m going to purchase it but due to body altering surgery the fit matters. Thank you Carolynn
you have such great advice for looking great with what you have and when you have decided to put yourself on a budget and get your bills paid off! lol. merci
Thumbs up 👍
Frederique, great job, as always! I love that striped shirtdress. Where can I get one, I wonder? Also can you do a show on stylish jewelry? Thanks, Joanne
Great idea! the dress i bought it long time ago in australia :)
Nice content :)
This is very nice F xxx
@Write me up @FrederiqueBros why
I know how much you love camel colour, but my sallow skin tone doesn't! Any other suggestions?
Thank you! Please link the Amazon sweater that you referenced in the video. Very chic!
That Amazon sweater is in her Amazon shop under French Capsule. I have it and I love it so much the perfect weight sweater
@@elizabethsahu7822 Thanks so much!
@@elizabethsahu7822 I looked there …and the other spots also. Cannot find it. 😢
@@gwhiz111 oh no i bet they will restock it. I love lightweight sweaters they are so versatile
I love your videos. I don't like the satin dress though. It looks like a petticoat. Especially when it has adjustable straps. It's better than the tube dress. That looks like a towel.
Please send link for first beige sweater top. I can’t find.
Check on my Amazon shop thanks
Don't forget posture, walk tall with purpose. Nothing looks frumpier than leaning forward, arms dangling. My pet peeve.
Excellent 👌 point. My husband is 6'3" and I have noticed that lately I need to remind him to stand up properly, he spends all day in front of a computer and his posture is suffering.
I can’t seem to find that camel v-neck sweater from amazon. I have looked through your capsules and it wasn’t in any of them. Can you please provide a direct link? Thanks.
It’s on my Amazon shop in different Color’s
You are so fun and entertaining to watch! Where is the link to the tan sweater? And is there a link to the stripe dress? Thanks!
The tan sweater looks like one I bought that is in her Amazon French Capsule shop it is soooooo comfy and easy to wear
Awesome! I found the sweater thank you! Can i find the blue stripe dress anywhere?
@@janeboettcher3986 Can you help me find the tan sweater? I'm going blind looking! Thanks
@@lulujeanne1 i know its tough to find! I went back into her videos which talked about her amazon shop. That helped to take me to her French Capsule. Good luck!
@@lulujeanne1 sent you the link
Enjoyed the video "click click click" 😂😂
I will never wear something that turns me into a billboard
Can you share a link for the beige sweater from Amazon, please?
Check in the description thx
Looked through all three capsules and could not find it!
Merry Christmas to you, if we don't see you before it.
Don't black-dyed clothes colour things like furniture and stuff? Just curious as I always wanted to try dying my black clothes but I'm scared. Anyone any experience?
There are reactive dye fixatives on the market...some say salt or vinegar works, but do some research.
Try your local dry cleaners, they usually offer die services. The type of material that you are dieing will have to be taken into consideration, not all will work out.
You're fantastic! Love your videos. Your eyebrows are on point - how do you do them?
I watched another video explaining the brows lol
❤️
❤❤❤
i dont like color except a pale pastel. black brown grey white dark blue white biege dark hunter green.
Wear monochrome and classic clothes then accessorize with pearl earrings!
👍👍👍👍👍👍
❤️❤️❤️🙏🏼
It's mostly the poor and middle class who are flashy. The wealthy brag and take a lot of pride in spending as close to $0 on amazing outfits as possible. Also don't underestimate just being in great physical shape!!! That enough alone is almost enough to get you over the line lol.
Yes 👍
What about women with large arms and tummy. I have a mummy tummy after children. I'm not over weight but the tummy never went away. Also natural materials.
Try intermittent fasting.
Omg I would never wear one of those tube dresses, I have seen those on women, and it is never nice looking lol!
Go France 🎉🙌 FIFA
@FrederiqueBros.. Hellooo. I am so new to this. Did I really win something? I got a notification..
If someone is broke, they can't afford a dermatologist! Great tips Frederique ❤️
But they can certainly follow and learn from the RUclips dermatologists , Dr Dray and The Budget Dermatologist!
Yes! Thank you!
I like well made bags, but I do not like designer bags. Just my personal choice but I do not want to look like everybody else.
Less is more ever
Interesting common sense for sure, however, it's very unlike that a person that is "broke" would be able to pair each outfit with a Chanel, Hermes, Dior, Fendi bags, just saying....It Purses...
Take the bag to a shoe cobbler he can repair it
I heard one evolutionary biologist say that women over forty five may remain to be beautiful but NOT Sexy😳😔
That biologist clearly has not seen Jennifer Aniston at age 53!!! ❤️
That “look rich”,”look expensive”sounds cheap and unclassy.
Another tip: don’t be fat!
Thanks for this video. You look beautiful as usual.
Whoa! Here's a tip... don't fat shame.
@@bernitajenkins3180 I don’t think that the OP was fat shaming anyone, but rather was saying that being an average weight does help one to look “rich and classic”, as was the topic of this video. As someone who has spent many decades working with a very wealthy population, the majority of those women were slim to average body size. There is a lot of pressure to maintain your weight in a healthy range by having discipline in eating moderately and exercising consistently. It is just the way it is. Wealthier people, in general, are thinner and more fit, according to copious research. Even at similar educational levels, obese women earn 30% less than average size women. Whether it is because obese women may not go for the higher paying jobs or ask for that raise, or because they face discrimination in the workplace, it impacts their income. Unfortunately, obesity is often seen as arising from a lack of discipline, and people may have the perception that if a person lacks discipline in self care, that they may lack discipline in other areas of their life, which may impact their productivity. Whether this is or isn’t true, studies have shown that in women, body size impacts earnings. This, in turn impacts overall wealth. It is interesting to note that body size has far less impact on the earning levels of males.
@@hiannahgus574 Thanks for educating us. I hope your (many) words help those suffering from Hypothyroidism, depression, Cushing's Disease or maybe Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome...they just need to change their diet? Wait...do rich people get sick? 🤔
BTW... I'm a size 8.
@@bernitajenkins3180 I understand. I was one of those people who for a few decades was obese. Yes, I had hypothyroidism , PCOS, and other health issues, but it wasn’t until I started eating very cleanly , doing reformer Pilates, and doing a whole lot of inner healing work (Marisa Peer’s and Paul McKenna’s hypnosis , and Dr. Joe Dispenza’s programs) could I release the weight. I now eat like a French woman/ autoimmune paleo diet. I do loving movement with Pilates, yoga, and horizontal rebounding. I have been able to let go of 60 pounds and have a BMI right in the normal range. I am a petite framed woman and I went from a size 16 to a 4/6, which is what I was in college. I am treated VERY differently now than I was before, when I was obese. I am no longer invisible to men and I definitely earn more now, too. Even women treat me differently. Those gains are secondary to the many health benefits I have received. I am no longer pre diabetic and my cholesterol is lower. And yes, the autoimmune issues are far more manageable because my diet is anti inflammatory. So, yes, perhaps more people with those diseases that you mentioned would benefit from changing their diet. A great book is “The Inflammation Spectrum“ by Dr Will Cole. It discusses the role of diet in all of these inflammatory diseases so prevalent today.
Sometimes it annoys me that I am treated better now than I was before, as I am still the same inner person, but yet in so many ways, I am a totally different person than I was before, too, and people respond positively to that change in energy.
@@hiannahgus574 Agree. It's a shame they are treated badly. I have the opposite problem... I have recently lost 15kg (10 in one week), which is, as yet, undiagnosed. I get "just eat more" or " have some of mine". I've always been thin, but now I look like a pre-pubescent boy!
Good on you for being so proactive and improving your health and life. Have a cool Yule. 🌲👋🇦🇺😎🎉💝
U r broke with a Hermes belt? Lol
She's had it for years 😉
You can shop resale and get high end items..
