Rats are pissing in those waters all year around ! I'd rather pay for a nice holiday in the med and enjoy the vast golden beaches where the sun is shining for real than catching this : How you get leptospirosis Leptospirosis is spread in the pee of infected animals, most commonly rats, mice, cows, pigs and dogs. You can get leptospirosis if: soil or freshwater (such as water from a river, canal or lake) that contains infected pee gets in your mouth, eyes or a cut, usually during activities like kayaking, outdoor swimming or fishing. 😉

Yes there is charge for the mini train ride. I think it was £3.00 per adult and £2.50 for child. Thank you.

I’ve heard that it is safe but it’s not recommended. I really just enjoyed the sun there, didn’t went for a swim😊
