When I saw them live about 14 months ago, this was the opening song of the night, perfect to get the crowd jumping... literally.
It was a bit of a short set, only about an hour, but it took about a day for my hearing to return to normal.

Fleshgod Apocalypse, powerful symphonic guys who also have an opera singer
I can recommend the song The Day We'll Be Gone, a good half is sung by her, an angelic voice (there is an acoustic version, but there is not that powerful combination of guitars and bass with her epic singing, so it's better to check the original version), one of their best... I consider the compositions

Baffles me how they are able to make that sound. Only thing i can come up with it that to project that sound, you have to really contract your abdomen muscles. It also looks like when he's going hardcore growl, that he is a bit hunched forward, maybe because of the contractions of his muscles. That's just my thoughts. Might be completely wrong😂 Anyways, always enjoy your videos and as always, great reaction😊

I understand not wanting to say clean, I believe the word is Distortion. Guttural distortion lol theres singing. Beautiful singing. Screaming. And singing with distortion. I can’t sing. I can but my voice just isn’t pretty even when hitting notes I got a big nose and a big uvula it’s awful but I can scream and growl all day without hurting my self. I’m not using my vocal cords at all at least it does not feel like it and my high pitch screams are WAY louder than me shouting as hard as I can.. I’m not sure what is going on but maybe with your studying this might help you.. there also screamers that use vocal chords instead of mixing the other flappy bits and it’s obvious and sounds weird live a lot of the times. They call it “fry” like you said but it’s not loud when they do it. Alex is not frying all the time he’s mixing some how like me but.. better cause he’s super famous and I’m divorced lol just for growling folding towels..
The lows come from my chest right where it meets my neck. My son says it comes from my back like I’m purring. My highs come from right behind my mouth and up in my nasal cavity but only out my mouth. My “mids” are kinda right where my speaking voice would start to form from a whisper.. then I push from below my ribs.. and something else rattles with my voice that’s not my voice.. I don’t know anatomy I’m literally sitting here annoying my cat while documenting where I feel it resonating..

Would be really cool to see you maybe check out LVNDMVRKS, their new track "Creature" is really awesome vocally I thought, keeps me coming back. Also it's not as brutal as this particular one ahah, you're cool for being so open-minded musically.
Also, a more personal request.. if you need more ideas for future reactions exploring deathcore- Angelmaker is my favorite band - they made an emotional track "Requiem" with very diverse and (in my opinion) incredible vocals, they have 2 vocalists, and if you're curious about it I would be delighted to see you react to it some day, it's definitely abit different and perhaps reliant on what mood you're in, but I don't think you'd be dissapointed. Have a lovely week. 🤘
