With its rich legacy of nurturing some of the smartest minds in the country, it is usually the first choice for anyone wanting to pursue an MBA. Not only is IIM-A known for its extremely rigorous curriculum but is also famous for its selection process to find the right candidates for their PGP program.
Ganesh was also an aspirant like you. He graduated in mechanical engineering and had worked with BPCL for a few years before he decided to pursue an MBA. His interview consisted of many technical questions, which encompassed both his work experience and what he had studied in engineering. His ability to answer the questions with an understanding of the field helped him crack his IIM-A interview.

@@meeshajain1784 I am not from IIT or NIT. Many of my college mates made it to IIMs. However, the highest paying jobs (50 lpa and above) are generally awarded to those who have been from IITs.

Most probably you can get into other colleges like FMS.
I believe that the Single sheet of degree can't decide your future. You'll have to do something different from crowd.

This is so stupid. Please stop this nonsensical business. Everyone should realize that great institutes are looking for people who are - if nothing more - independent thinkers. Don't infuse their brains with such methodical interviews, as it rarely creates valuable thinkers. If you think by dis-serving the youth you make a difference at least acknowledge that you're not preparing students for a real battle. Have you ever thought if all these useless MBA gurus stop 'shaping' young minds, and IIMs keep their intake constant, how will the student quality be impacted? If you really think it will go down, you are just running away from the truth and are no different from business consultants who hide the inconvenient picture of how simple the process is from clients for personal ends. Please learn the difference be teaching and just doing random stuff and projecting it as an essential learning.
