Love honey and Jasmine! How does this compare to addictive vibration by Initio?
I have chosen honey as one of the core notes to center my intentionally small collection around. I love it, I love what it represents, I love that it is sweet but complex and takes on distinctly different natures in different seasons. I suspect a reason why honey is a relatively rare note is that it can be animalic, some people are quite sensitive to its ammonia quality. I've never gotten that, and I know because my skin is very (measurably!) hot a lot of volatile chemicals like ammonia which is highly temperature sensitive just burns away instantly on me.
My two signature frags that feature honey or honey-adjacent notes are Prada La Femme EDP and Arabian Oud Kalemat. La Femme is beeswax-sweet but clean and loaded with tropical yellow-white florals and a hint of vetiver to ground it. Kalemat is, I think similar to Blooming Amber, a rich honey intertwined seamlessly with amber with incredibly subtle hints of spice, fruit, and herb.
I also wear jasmine oil in my hair, since I don't like spraying alcohol-based perfumes in it. I consider natural jasmine to be honey-adjacent, it has similar indolic qualities and blends beautifully with it.
Blooming Amber sounds right up my alley, although I may be biased in saying I would be very hard to impress after discovering Kalemat which I consider a masterpiece.
