I installed a BFT gate so far so good before I left South Africa. Last year, I visited my old house there and found they changed the motor. I weld the steel gate my self too, with forks on top. South Africa is a good place, I mean in Pretoria, dry and electric equipment not easily broke. May be the remote and the battery finished. I am so happy with BFT

Nice video but a Centurion Branded motor would prove better than both of these for Speed, Safety, Superior Control panel, additional features and fine tuning of motor pattern.
FAUX !!! Pour avoir depuis plus de 3 ans une motorisation GENIUS Milord 424, j'affirme qu'elle possède bien un limiteur de couple, réglable, qui inverse la commande sur blocage. Elle possédé aussi une marche à vitesse variable automatique dans les deux sens et une vitesse maxi de 12M/Min, moteur 24V, télécommande 833Mhz, etc...... Bref, je ne dit pas que "BFT" n'est pas bien, mais ce qui est sur c'est qu'ils ont des caractéristiques techniques similaire et qu'il faut faire des réglages similaires pour faire une comparatif de qualité, ce qui n'est malheureusement pas le cas de cette vidéo.
En fait, petit point important, il faut faire attention à la génération des motorisations et non pas a la marque. ce que ne dit pas la vidéo. donc la vidéo n'ai pas tout a fait fausse, mais il manque beaucoup d'info pour ce faire un avis..... dommage
La fuerza de empuje debe ser medida con el mismo "patron de medida"? Para que arriesga la integridad fisica del muchachito que trata de manera infructuosa de DETENER el porton de manera incorrecta al principio y despues lo hace el otro instalador mas grandote de la manera adecuada? Para esa prueba Uds, colegas, deberian utilizar un DINAMOMETRO y las normas europeas establecen que el maximo de empuje permitido son 15KGF por lo que ambos portones no estan regulados como corresponde.

Very dangerous gate, no safety edges would kill a child. Has happened before, hence the machine directive on trapping points.
