I was just playing this last night on my PS2. It's my favorite NBA Street title with V3 in 2nd. Best way to beat Be A Legend mode is to play pick up games with Legendary difficulty, give yourself a big lead in any type of game (trick challenge, gamebreaker wins, dunks only, etc). Make it easy for yourself to win. Get the W and rematch. 4 wins will give 1,200 reward points that you can use to buy 1,000 dev points you can assign to any of your created players. Wash, rinse, repeat until you're maxed out, then go slaughter the Be A Legend Mode.
I would also add to that man, with them rematches practice the shot timing that gets best results of shot made for yourself, since you crowned shooting and all and abuse that mf!
The legend difficulty makes things extremely challenging and it’s like a teaching experience to not be so reliant on cheese. And also you can’t hoist up threes like that every game. On the topic of Dime though; she’ll steal the ball, your heart and wallet in that order!
