Didn't like the Liufau call on the two picks segment - poor in the run game, runs around like a chicken with its head cut off - this was a clear multi-round overdraft, regardless of the desire for an RB. There were at least 4-5 LBs Cowboys should have had ahead on their board. And Trey Lance - got beaten out by Brandon freakin Allen in SF. Can't read the field, hIs mechanics are a mess (partially due to compensating for injury), accuracy issues ... as one NFL scout described him - "broke man’s version of Donovan McNabb."
I agree, I still don't like the Liufau pick regardless of his high football IQ. Marist averaged 3 tackles per game and 1 missed tackle per game while at ND, I hope I'm wrong about this kid but I just don't see more than a backup LB/ special teamer with him. I had Liufau behind the obvious guys in Payton Wilson/ Jeremiah Trotter Jr./ Cedric Gray but I also had him behind Tyrice Knight/ Tommie Eichenberg/ Nathaniel Watson/ Edefuan Olofoshio/ Jaylon Ford. I will trust Zimmer's analysis of him but if he ends up being a special teamer I'm gonna double down on what I've said about him.

I love Nick’s work but no Dallas had no chance to comeback in that Green Bay game and they only started to run all over Dallas in the second half when the game was already out of reach.
No doubt and having the kid lose 35 pounds and play the 3 tech is strictly on them. Mazi had never been asked to rush the passer or play 3 tech in his entire life until last year, they effed the kid up big time. We have been notorious for not being good at developing defensive tackles in the last 10 years, I hope that changes now that Zimmer is here.
Mazi was playing hurt we dont know how severe the shoulder injury was. Plus the Quinn regime made him lose weight smh? But now they got Rogers at 1 tech plus Davis. And now Mazi will have to put the weight back on.its going to take time for him to readjust to the new DC.

Rogers was just ok at Auburn and is a terrible athlete (5.53 Forty Yard Dash and a 1.11 RAS Score, which is absolutely terrible.) Davis was a better college player than Rogers but he hasn't shown much in his 9 NFL seasons. I think we should sign Lawrence Guy or Linval Joseph to give us a little better depth at 3 tech.
